I've had my Klean Kanteen with a sports top for a few years now, and it has leaked from the beginning. So I use it as a nighttime bedside water bottle and never take it in a bag anywhere, which is ok for me but kind of defeats the purpose of having a "sports top" water bottle. The design flaw is in the air valve, separate from the pop up sipper, although it must be said that the supper lid cover doesn't fit on the sipper well either. The whole sports top needs a complete redesign. I'd love to give Klean Kanteen a better rating but, in truth, your product kinda sucks. Fix it up, guys!

Bought a comparatively expensive tk pro early last year. The build quality and finish are better than most but there is a fundamental design problem. This vacuum flask comes with an insulated cup but the stopper that seals the flask is not insulated. The heat loss from the stopper when you are using the cup is substantial. If you don not replace the cup back on the flask it cools down very quickly. I have to decant any hot drink from the flask into a separate insulated cup, which is a nuisance. I emailed customer services at Kleen Kanteen and got no response so I do not know what their explanation of this apparently seriously flawed design issue might be.
