This company is the worst. They are a start up but acting worse than any mom and pop shop at any corner of the globe. I can get better customer service and support at any place. They have flaws in their vetting process that got hit with ID theft for a total amount of >$300,000. They refunded $90,000 to backer and working on recovering the other funds. But it is a long shot. Their Terms of Use warranty that they are not liable for any of your loss. I can understand that if a co-op could not sell its inventory, but making their users absorb the lost, not at the users' fault, is irresponsible. You can go to Reddit and read hundreds of comment about how they treat the users.

Very disappointed in the Kickfurther platform. Have lost thousands of dollars in failed Co-Ops, no payback or communication from the "business owner", and no response from Kickfurther about what they're doing to recover investors' money. A class-action lawsuit is brewing. Be careful of investing any money with Kickfurther.

this isn't investing, its pure gambling. Vetting doesn't truly happen. The cancellation process has been an absolute nightmare for a couple of my co-ops. Will be lucky to get 90% back of what I put in originally.

The CEO and the management team are such a failure. They made promise to backers that they would recoup as much money as possible for us but now they're liquidating our inventory dirt cheap that we get 10% something back best scenario; they promised legal power under contract against fraudulent business but now they say they won't sue businesses anymore; they touted to have an "efficient, proprietary" vetting process against businesses put on the platform but now we had 3 offers put on the platform and gotten our money via IDENTIFY THEFT! The ridicules this team pull are through the roof in expense of people's hard earned money. CEO Sean and his management team don't care to answer tough questions but just ignore them. I will never see my money back. -100% return is what I get! If you don't believe me, head to Kickfurther community on reddit and you will see the real reflection of Kickfurther' s current status.

Not worth investing on here, unless you like losing money. No offer is safe, been told pretty heavy lies for awhile.

Company has a record of absolutely zero due diligence while taking hundreds of thousands of dollars from "investors" who believed they would own these businesses' inventory as collateral. KF has shown almost no effort in vetting businesses, verifying inventory has been purchased with raised funds, or seizing inventory. Many backed businesses have been revealed to have no inventory at all. KF's employees have been caught astroturfing their own business to social media and having profane exchanges under pseudonyms with unhappy backers. Currently, nearly 25% of offers are either troubled or canceled, and historically a fraction of these businesses have paid backers anything. It's impossible to make any gains investing in a market where a quarter of investments disappear in their entirety. Canceled offers stagnate for months without any enforcement or updates. The management at KF has repeatedly claimed they are improving their vetting procedures, but if anything the number of failed offers has increased. It's sad because this is an excellent concept, but that's all KF has to say for itself at the moment.

I squealed, literally squealed like a little girl when I found this site! You mean, I can make small investments into a business and I'm guaranteed a return on my investment with an actual time table. It sounds magical. I wanted it to be true, because I'm a small business owner and I thought this was a win win situation. So out of three four meager investments, only one of them actually paid on time and in full. I have three other investments through kickfurther; one is supposedly in litigation, one paid back a third of what they owed and are "experiencing issues" -- essentially promising payments but never delivering and the final one has missed every deadline and hasn't supplied a single return. If you're one of the few who've made money on the site, you're a rarity. Count your blessings. I invested less than $100 and I don't expect to see what I initially invested, nor the 7%-12% returns that were promised. Do not waste your time, effort, or energy in the "micro-investment revolution" unless you want to see your money go directly into the trash.

My company Komodo Kamado did a sucessful Kickfurther campaign last year. Paid off no problem. This year came back to do another. Many more hurdles to jump. Two weeks of telling me let's go, let's go.. then their calls stopped, all the staff has full voicemail. Finally, I'm told from a secretary that they no longer fund any projects that do not have a Purchase Order. None of the senior staff had the decency to call me themselves. That's fine but wish they would have told me this weeks ago.
