KickfurtherReviews of kickfurther.com

I've used Kickfurther to back multiple consignment campaigns. The company does a good job of vetting the companies on the site and making sure that things run smoothly. While it's a new type of way to back companies and make money doing it, I've found it to be quiet appealing.

Update: I'm writing this 3+ years since my first review where I gave them 4 stars. Since then they have improved many aspects of the business and it seems the average deal that comes on board is better than before. May 2018: Kickfurther seems to have turned things around. They started strong 3 years ago, took a dip, and now they have been overdelivering for the last 6 months. I've lost money on the platform, but am now making it back quickly with their new deals. I'm giving them another go, and hope they continue to earn my trust. I'll make this 5 stars if they keep this up.

That was easy. We just did a 90k raise in under 24 hours with the KF community. Sure putting together everything was a bit time consuming and there were a few hiccups in the process (make sure to hit save often in the application process) but overall our experience with everyone at KickFurther was top notch. Brock did an excellent job of communicating with me every step of the way, from early morning texts to late evening updates - Brock was ON IT! Eric was great in explaining how best to structure the deal to make the community feel comfortable - to mitigate their risk and to create an offer that was a win-win all around. I am not only the COO of Phat Scooters but an investor myself in a number of startups and I have to say their due diligence was top notch, sure as a business owner it sucks to be put through the meat grinder and have to back up every number and detail - but reality is that is what makes for good diligence and that is what protects the community. Although I never mentioned it in updates during our fundraising - Eric and Brock diligence in the process made me so comfortable I became a customer as did two other members of our management team and we are now KF users and funding deals. I do realize that there is risk in every investment and there are bad people out there, bad deals out there and just plain bad luck out there - but having been through due diligence and put investments of my own through diligence KF was the right blend of uncomfortable and friendly, trust but verify; their goal was to create a great deal for the community and a good opportunity for us. They did that hands down and I am happy to have found them.

As a user on Kickfurther, I have had a great experience backing companies and profiting on my contributions. I read from a while back that some of the companies were unsuccessful at paying back in when Kickfurther was just getting started in 2015-2016, but from my experience, that is no longer the case. Since they released their new vetting rules in Aug of 2017, all of my deals have performed very well and the communication has been great. Nice work Kickfurther team for persevering and continuing to improve your programs for both companies and users!

My company has used Kickfurther to raise funds on three occasions. Every single person on their team is incredible, always willing to help and clear up confusion. Their system is very interesting and has helped us quickly raise money in order to fund material purchases, which has allowed us to fulfill large purchase orders. We have developed a great relationship with the team and the backers and will continue to use this platform!!!

We are forever grateful to Kickfurther. Without this incredible team, I can honestly say, Glacce would not be what it is today. With their help, efficiency, & admirable work ethic, I am proud to work with such a company that has helped us grow so much so quickly. I currently & will continue to recommend this company.

Our company, Safe Ride 4 Kids, has been looking at Kickfurther since 2015/2016 but we weren't ready to move forward until early 2017. At that point, when we were finally ready, they were in the middle of revamping their entire vetting process for companies in order to provide better protection for the "backers"... so we had to wait. I'm happy to say that we made it through the new vetting process and have successfully completed our first Co-Op and just launched and got funded on our second. The team at Kickfurther are great to work with and do a great job guiding us through the process. Kickfurther fills a much-needed void in the "financing" space for growing companies to fund the up-front costs of inventory and manufacturing. I have and will continue to recommend Kickfurther to other entrepreneurs who face similar challenges.

Anyone who has had experience raising short term funding through banks, PO financing, or factoring companies knows what a nightmare that can be. the devil is literally in the details. And those details can be costly. Given my past experience, working with Kickfurther was a real breath of fresh air. Rather than a transactional relationship the team at Kickfurther are partners. They walked me through the process, made sure everything was clear, and were hyper responsive in making sure that both my needs and the needs of backers of my project were met. The process was painless, fast, and professional. I look forward to working with them again in the future.
