I'm genuinely fed up with Kakobuy. I use them to get tools and parts for my work, and almost every order I've had recently has had a problem. The latest: all I asked for was the rehearsal step on my parcel. They ignored that completely and cancelled it, then put one of the orders into "refunding" and told me to go and sort a return with the seller myself. Their reason was that an item contains a magnet with "strong magnetic properties" and that it's prohibited. They have a shipping line for magnetic goods on their own site, it's a small, weak magnet, and I've had multiple things like it shipped through them before without any issue. Nobody warned me. I only found out after everything was already at their warehouse and had been photographed. Another parcel got the same treatment. They told me the items "do not contain batteries" but that it still had to go on the sensitive goods route, which is a contradiction in one sentence. Then, out of the blue, they asked me for proof of the value, after everything had already gone through and nothing had suggested it was needed. The support is the real killer, because it just goes round in circles. They ask for proof of payment, so I show them my invoice. Then they ask for a link, so I send it. Then they ask for proof of payment again. Every message gets answered by a different person who clearly hasn't read what came before, and the replies are generic templates that don't address what I asked. Meanwhile the parcel Ive paid money for sits there, held for over weeks at a time waiting to get sent. It's the same story with everything else. One parcel had its shipping cancelled and I had to resubmit it. The rehearsal step costs extra and adds days to every parcel, and then they cancel at that step anyway. Their QC only photographs the outside, I ask for them to clearly take a photo of something specific and I get told yes, they'll do it but never do. All I want is clear rules before I buy anything and send it to the warehouse, one person who owns the case, and a reply that actually answers the question. After this, I'm looking at other ways to get my orders shipped. I've been buying with kakobuy for years but it's time I say goodbye.
