paid over $20,000 across multiple training and board-and-train packages with K9 Indigo. My dogs were never actually trained -- the core service I paid for was not delivered. The most serious incident: I picked up my French Bulldog, Gus, from a board-and-train stay and immediately had to rush him to BluePearl Pet Hospital. The discharge summary documents severe dehydration, malnourishment with visibly protruding ribs, ulcerated sores on his lips consistent with him chewing at a crate to try to escape, bruising on his chest, weakness in his back legs, and signs of possible internal bleeding and aspiration pneumonia. The attending vet's notes state he was found covered in urine and feces and that it was clear he had not been cared for properly. The vet strongly recommended hospitalization; the bill for the visit and required follow-up care approached $4,000. When I raised the lack of training results and this incident, I was met with deflection, not accountability. Despite over $20,000 in paid services, any refund was framed as a personal favor rather than a business obligation. I would strongly caution anyone considering this program to think carefully, and I'm happy to provide documentation to anyone who wants to verify what I'm describing here.
