JustHostingReviews of just.hosting

This is perhaps the worst hosting provider I've come across in decades of using VPS. Generally, for this sort of bargain basement VPS hosting you don't have high expectations, but at least you should get what you pay for. Well, this is where it starts to go wrong - just.hosting you don't get what you pay for. You only get ~75% of advertised memory, support claiming the rest is used by host KVM. Utter nonsense. Second, VPS drops out randomly for several minutes at a time, several times per day. Support don't really care as this is intermittent, they just do ping and if they get a response when they test they close the ticket and all is good as far as they are concerned. Refused help to resolve the issue, claiming there is no issue. Yet the machine keeps disappearing. Third, VPS are extremely slow and very poorly configured. Due to overprovisioning, VPS can't allocate contiguous memory so can't perform even simplest tasks - like updating the system. Anything you do on what is supposed to be 1Gb VPS produces "Process Killed". Only after manually adding swap was I able to run updates. When things do run, again due to overprovisioning, performance is ridiculously poor, 10x -30x slower then specifications would suggest. Worst of all - the support. They provide nonsensical answers, technically incorrect and misleading or completely unrelated to the questions, then close the tickets without doing anything. They also ignored my request for a refund. Ridiculous considering their boast of "kind technical support".
