What an expensive way to have a bunch of "free days"
Back in March 2019 I went to Egypt. This won't really be a review of that. Would take too long. This will be a review of a weird online travel agent. I paid a fair bit of cash and really should've checked the itinerary they sent me. Long story short, when you go to Egypt, it's better to book things on the ground. A lot cheaper. Also I got ripped off by a conman who I first encountered at the "hotel" Jubel booked me into. He noticed my Jubel itinerary was bereft off things to do. Literally. Upon looking at it, I realised theybooked a few hotels and ultimately left me to choose my own activities. For the money I paid? Ugh. I ended up throwing tons of cash at the hotel reception guy. Totally my fault, I'm a naive traveller. What I will say is despite losing all my savings, and running up a credit card bill, I had the time of my life in Egypt. No thanks to Jubel. P.S. Also they are tricky to contact in an emergency.
