Content is really good however unfortunately you will be spammed with email daily. No content is worth your inbox being filled up with offer after offer after offer. Even when the offer is supposed to finish you can bet it will be extended and more spam emails will arrive daily. Shame

I've purchased the "beginning photography" masterclass. Joel is clearly a successful photographer and he knows what he's doing, but so far into the course I find he just can't get the information across without interrupting himself and starting another train of thought. Also he was trying to explain the 18% gray concept, which he kept calling the 50% for some reason, and he was supposed to show a couple of cards and one he left in his other studio and the other one his son borrowed so he didn't have it. I don't see how you start recording videos without all the material you need to get your point across. Another thing is it would have been nice to see concept like aperture, ISO and shutter played live while he was talking. He's just sitting there trying to get his point across, and maybe a couple of images with the example of what he wanted to get across would have helped to visualize the concept and digest it better. I'm only a quarter of the way through and I will finish the course, but so far I don't think it's worth paying for it when there are so many other sources of information that will actually show you what they are talking about.

I have recently bought Joel's course and I recieved a newsletter about the new discounted courses. The price of them was good so I gave them a shot. They are definitely worth the money, however I don't understand why it has to be divided into several websites. My Still Life photography course is accessible on joelgrimes website, the portrait courses are accessible on creatorfoundry... Doesn't make any sense, it would be obvious to access everything on the same platform. The website isn't intuitive, you can access the courses only via a direct link, once you click on another section of the website it is often not possible to locate the course again. Imho the website should be improved. There are so many great tutors like Joel or Photigy who have great content but the website is from the 90s. :-) There is also absolutely no choice to buy additional courses, all the website offers is my course library. Does it mean the next time a bundle will be discounted it will be accessible from different, thirs website? This would prevent me from buying anymore honestly.
