This company is ideal if you, yourself, want to access ed tools and ask questions -- all in attempt to make up your own mind on annuties. It takes time to go this route, but so far the info provided by SAA seems to hold water. I have compared SAA to other companies and products. I agree with SAA that fees and staying out of the stock market are very important. After reading and thinking about the annuity option, I had one major question at the end: what if inflation rears up? The returns do not adjust for inflation. However, the rules applying to pulling out of an hybrid annuity seems to offer a fair amount of relief in case of inflation. This was my conclusion, and my SAA advisor seemed to agree. I will recommend SAA to other retirees.
