My wife and I had numerous meetings with Jim Clifford and Jennifer Cushman regarding the purchase of annuitires with funds from our IRA accounts. We were satisfied with their explanation of minimizing the risk in exchange for a lesser return on our investments. The overall process of the transfer over to the annuity was a simple and understanding process, but as far as me as an investor knowing where/what my money is invested in is hard to find and understand. It would make it simpler if there was a spreadsheet that could be looked at showing each stock and what percentage was invested in each stock and showing what each stock had gained and lost. A report like what is given by an employer for their employee's 401k plan.

Lee was very detailed in his explanations of the different options available to us. This allowed us to make an informed decision. we are thus far very happy with the results

Although the cycle to decision was extended I felt comfortable that Jason Frizzell kept our needs clear and simple to align against delivered results

Dealing with Bob Szigeti was easy and comfortable. He explained my options clearly and there was no pressure to go in any particular direction. After making my decision he made the financial transaction details easy to follow. The entire process was as easy and straightforward as I could have hoped.

Jim set the appointments and was informative and on-time. The whole operation took about 3 weeks. There were the anxiety attacks, etc., but this is something I should have done 3 years ago when I reached 62 years old. I retired from the Texas Highway Department after 15 years, -they forced the issue. Which I should thank them for the kick in the rear. I will be doing contract labor in the future. All to my advantage. I simply couldn't take the 0.057% interest at the Credit Union or a 10 year CD at 1.4% anymore. It was sink or swim. I made my CHOICE! Yeah, I know about Greece, and Portugal, Spain. Etc, etc.,---what are you going to do? I did some research, talked to people, invested. I'm no worse or better off than the ups and downs of the 401K roller coaster. Standard gov bond 20 years ago would have yielded the same as the Stock Market! If it works out I'll have a steady income w/increases and leave my son a nice chunk of change. Now--- If the government, economy collapses I will be no worse off than the billions of other people.
