Very disappointed that the knife broke clean off the handle after the first use. I know how to take care of good knives and did everything correctly. Perhaps it was a one-off? Apparently not. Customer services said they would not replace, refund or exchange and that it must be 'user error'. Basically a scam. Waste of money. Waste of time.

I bought a knife and paid for shipping. Japanny sent it by Fed Ex who used Orbit Couriers. They increased the customs tax by 170% with their own charges. I refused to pay this, I only wanted to pay the customs charge. Japanny took the knife back and refused to give me any refund citing all kinds of additional costs I had supposedly incurred by not paying. I have paid money in good faith and now have no knife and no money back. I think the service is appalling and would recommend anyone not to buy.
