It sucks because it ruins my day and weekends

Ixl ruined my weekends when my teacher assigns us 10 ixls. When I get to 99, I'm so exited but then I get the question wrong, and I'm at a C. To heck with "IXL".

10 words to describe IXL: boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring.

IXL's wording has been complicated to understand. I am unsure if it is my fault; however, when I was learning about Derivatives, the question didn't specify that it was for implicit derivatives, and therefore, I had many problems wrong. Even though the title does state thought, it would be a lot better if it were on the question as well. My classmates have also acknowledged that the wording of IXL is and has been complicated to understand. Due to this and that some of my quizzes are on IXL, it has given me a lot of trauma and anxiety. I was mentally stressed today at school due to that. Usually, I am very quick with math and a lot of questions are easy (because of Kumon), but with IXL, it slowed me done a lot because I didn't know how to write the answers and gave me a lot of pressure. It. Is. Pure. Torment. I am now officially traumatized, mentally stressed, and anxious. This is only part of what has happened with my experience.

As a student, I would not reccomended IXL. My math teacher includes it in her lessons every day, and I know that my peers and I have hated it for years. The website itself is very boring to look at. Some of the questions are way too hard and some are way too easy. Sometimes. I can get through a whole IXL with a Smartscore of 100 without doing any math at all and just using context clues. Other times, it will take me more than 3 hours to even get to a Smartscore of 80. Another thing, when your score is higher and you get a question right, you only gain 2-4 points, but when you get a question wrong, you can lose anywhere from 6 to 12 points. There are videos and lessons to help you when you're struggling, and occasionally they're helpful but the videos are visually boring and the voice narrating them is very monotone. This makes me not want to watch the videos so I struggle even more. The questions are also pretty repetitive and sometimes they barely make any sense. In conclusion, IXL is very boring and inconsistent and I would not reccomended it at all.
