Worst app ever. IXL constantly marks correct answers as “incorrect,” leaving students confused and discouraged. I’ve been using this platform for over a year, and despite countless complaints from me and my mom, nothing has changed. Many of the questions contain wrong or misleading answers, and the explanations are vague or unhelpful. Instead of building confidence, IXL undermines learning, wastes time, and creates frustration. Education tools should support students, not make them doubt themselves. If IXL wants to be taken seriously, they need to prioritize accuracy, transparency, and responsiveness to feedback. Until then, I cannot recommend this platform to anyone who values reliable learning.

The Ixl tests are way easier then the Ixl's its self do I need to say more

So my child spent way too much time on this. When he was on his 758th Question, his computer died. He crashed out, and he bought a Trippy Troppi. He tied me to a chair and took my lambrogini and a flamethrower. I saw on the news that every IXL building was burnt. I never saw my child again. His name is Portabella Muffin the 6th.

I HATE HATE IXL!!!!!

i'm in 10th grade and i always end up with a 99 and when i get one, JUST ONE question wrong, it sets me back to like 75 😭 this is most definitely the reason i stress and have anxiety. Khan academy is way better and i don't regret saying this.

IXL is actually so bad. I'm not lying, my children were doing well in school but they had to do better in some places and then I saw an ad for IXL on YouTube and I bought it thinking it would help my kids do better and lets them have a bit of fun. Just 1 day after buying it, they already hated it. My son said it don't even tell him how to do the problems and the videos are uneducative they just tell what to do, not how to do it well. And when I tried it for myself, I saw why. First, it's boring. And I'm not saying this just because, this is false advertising. The ads say "It makes it feel like fun screen time," No, it doesn't. It just gives you a sticker like that's fun. Second, the points system is broken, what do you mean that I got all the questions right, but the last one I got wrong and I have to do 3 more questions again? Like come on and typos that happen by accident, 10 points sacked. So yes this is absolutely not worth not worth spending your money on, just use Khan Academy or YouTube or Anything. Like This might be worse than Lexia.

IXL is horrible. Now I am going to tell you 3 reasons why. Number 1 when you get something wrong it sets you back so much even if its a honest mistake. Number 2, 1 time I got to almost 200 questions in 2 days because I kept getting things wrong and it keeps sending me back so much and it made me SO frustrated. Number 3, whenever I use IXL to study for a test I almost always fail and it makes you go to 100 like if you get something wrong it sends you back way to far like I said earlier. So I COMPLETLY DO NOT RECCOMEND IXL at all and try Khan Academy which will definitely help you get some good grades on your future tests.
