IXL is soo frustrating and gives me a lot of anxiety that I do not need I HATE it sooo much would not recommend.

genuinely gave me an anxiety diagnosis. looking back at my elementary school days, this was the worst thing that my teachers could have used in class. the scoring system is an actual nightmare for neurodivergent students. truly a horrific experience and caused so much shame and humiliation within me.

Miss typed and i did not even press the submit button and it submitted it wrong and if you get one question right you get 1 credit if you get one wrong it takes away 7. Worst learning app ever.

If im being honest, I hate IXL since the day I started using it. I've been using IXL possibly my whole life from what I remember, as I started using it in elementary school. I'm now a Junior (11th Grader) in High school. There have been some reviews that say not every kid hates this website. Ok, good for you we really didn't ask for that kind of opinion NOR review for you to speak up abt that. Anyways, IXL is so STRESSFUL that it has made me want to actually break my laptop at times, even if its given for homework! This website CLEARLY doesn't help. Theres always like 10 or more points taken off if you even get an answer wrong, JUST one answer wrong. I'm pretty sure I have actually shed tears at this website because of how frustrated and stressed I was. Again, the points system IS useless and you don't even get anything out of the work your given. You completed your work or homework? Great! take either nothing OR a sticker that does nothing but make it as your profile! ...That doesn't really make anyone excited to see because they've just went through 5 layers of frustration and stress to complete this. And omg, don't get me started on how the points go up slowly after you get ONE answer wrong, ONE ANSWER. I have to listen to music to be able to not rage at this website bruh, THE hate and anger I get from this website is nothing I've ever realized I had until IXL came along. Like, I'd prefer to use another website for school RATHER than IXL. It quite literally does NOT help, AT all. At this point, someone should just make a petition to take IXL down or something because i'm pretty sure like 95% of the kids around the globe have had either; 1, destroyed/damaged their devices in or out of school. 2, have had literal mental breakdowns over this website because of how messed up the points and SMARTSCORE system is. Honestly, schools shouldn't even be using this website because of their students are acting this way, it should be obvious that they should switch to another program to use for classes.

This company is a greedy company. My teacher makes me do this every single week and I'm sick of it. I am young and everyone in my class hates it they often rage complain and just do not like it. Of course my teacher ignores this I often like calling IXL modern medieval torture not a education learning experience where you excel but in ixl you just sit there answering 1000 questions to get a skill done. If a teacher is reading this please save the kids from ixl and make them enjoy your class. Also just so the parents and teachers know IXL is currently fighting a lawsuit. The lawsuit is about harvesting child data and selling it to the much larger corporations also they can use it for ads and more.

I hate I hate I hate I hate IXL so bad that the fact when I was in 5th grade I would literally let my grades drop straight up not on accident but on purpose straight up every time I would go to an answer question and straight up do not answer the questions correctly and keep answering them and keep not answering them making the system get confused as I don't know it and as I do know it because I've been letting the system make it as I do not like access that was how bad I hate it IXL especially when my teacher didn't let us use the games off behalf on the other things I hate fights L because the learning of it I had lots of classmates argue about IXL getting things wrong because that school I went to a private school everyone had their different ways of learning and when they solved it and I different way they got the answers wrong even they were right with the right calculations in the right math I hate it so much I'm glad it's getting sued because I almost had to do it again at my old school I just got to make sure now it's public school I don't have to do it😭😭😭
