I wish I could rate it lower

IXL is stupid! I have no shame in saying that. IXL is not an education system. It claims to be passionate about improving students' learning capabilities. But instead, they make me despise learning and education as a whole. Their mission is clickbait! They're hypocrites! Me being a kid who has autism--- and is moving up to the 8th grade currently--- IXL scares me to this day. It claims to build confidence, but builds anxiety, discouragement, and rage. Every time I do IXL, I either search the answer up or just bluntly guess. My school now gives the parents freedom to look on our computers--- like Go Guardian--- so that they can make sure we're on task. I won't be able to do it anymore. And don't even get me started on the Smart Score. Makes us look stupid. One minute you're at 98; next minute you're at 75 points. It's rigged. That just screams: "you're stupid!" And parents think it's okay, because it's given to you as an assignment, and you should do it, because your teacher told you to do it. I cried over this app before, and my dad was with me when that happened. Yet, I had to continue, because it's an assignment. I can't build the courage to show my parents the reviews on this app, because they would just brush it off. It's ruined my academic life. It hurts me. I've seen a kid in my class throw a tantrum over this stupid app. If you're a teacher or parent reading this, STOP MAKING YOUR KIDS DO IXL! There's 128, 966 schools in the USA, and IXL should not be in a single school! Mark my words!

BRO THIS APP PISS ME OFFFF LIKE EVERYTIME I GET TO 99 ON SMART SCORE IT GIVES ME A QUESTION THAT IS LIKE SO MUCH HARDER THAN THE OTHER ONES AND IF I GET IT WRONG IT DROPS O LIKE 89 AND I HAVE TO DO LIKE 6 QUESTIONS AGAIN IT GIVES ME SU MUCH ANXIETY SINCE EVERY . TIME . I . GET . CLOSE. TO . THE. END. IT GIVES ME REALLY HARD QUESTIONS AND EVERY TIME IT DROPS THE SCORE I WANNA CRASH OUT LIKE SO BAD LIKE BROO I WORKED SO HARD TO GET HERE AND YOU DROP LIKE 10 POINTS ALL THE SUDDEN?????!!!!!! AND THE SCIENCE ONES IT KEEPS GIVING ME THE SAME . QUESTIONS OVER AND OVER AGAIN IT TAKES ME LIKE 15 MIN TO GET ALL THE TOKENS FOR ONE SECTION!!!! AND IF YOU GET IT WRONG IT DELETES YOUR TOKENS LIKE BROO THE SYSTEM IS SO MESSED UP IF IT WAS FREE I WOULD BARELY EVEN USED IT! AND IT COSTS. MONEY!!!! LIKE 195 PER YEAR IS SUCH ROBBERY FOR ITS SYSTEM... .THEY SHOULD R.E.A.L.L.Y CHANGE THE SYSTEM A LITTLE

IXL is a learning platform that says their goals is to "Empower customers", which is not the case. I personally have used IXL and so have many friends of mine. IXL is a torture device sold to schools and dished out to children. This app has caused so much stress for people I know and even myself. I would spend almost 30 minutes to an hour on a single IXL. This would add up into multiple hours every week because we would receive a list to complete. The "smartscore" punishes students for making mistakes instead of helping them, making this a chore instead of a learning opportunity. They rake in millions of dollars from schools every year using a torture device, one that should not be used in schools anywhere.

Wrong answers and unfair point system.

IXL makes me stressed and many people stressed and makes annoyed by makes go down so much and going scores up little. And doesn't tell where does the image came from they just take the image from googles/

Purely knowing some of their employees makes me aware that this company is failing to hire good talent. I have interacted with some of their employees who are absolutely terrible at their jobs and have had very bad experiences with them.
