Mr. Medure was extremely helpful in guiding me through the college application process, providing comprehensive and thoughtful feedback and guidance, from summer school applications to helping me become the first student from my high school to be directly admitted to Columbia University. When we first started three years ago, I had little idea of what I wanted to study and how to apply/what to apply for, but through our many meetings and discussions, I not only gained a better sense of the direction I wanted to go in but also a solid understanding of specific, tangible steps in the application process (deadlines, breaking down essay prompts, how to send test scores, etc.). He provided guidance with my activities, like gaining a valuable research opportunity with a well-regarded professor in a field I was interested in, and gave specific program recommendations. Mr. Medure also provided extremely insightful feedback on my summer school and college essays, giving me the confidence to authentically and articulately express myself. Not only that, but he helped me stay on top of the different elements of my application(s) and meticulously went over them to make sure that everything was always inputted correctly.

His helped contributed greatly to my acceptances at John’s Hopkins, UNC Chapel Hill Honors, and University of Florida.
