I had a great time discussing my portfolio with Edward and Kate throughout these 11 weeks. I feel more aligned with my goals, focused on what I need to do, and excited for my own potential. The artistic guidance from Kate and professional advice from Edward validated my strengths, but gave me a lot to work on. Moving forward, I feel prepared. My only wish with this program was to have more video chats with everyone, so I could discuss more in depth my previous work, what it’s like working with publishers, and what specific changes I can make with my online presence. Nonetheless, I felt like I maximized the moments I spoke with everyone and I’m grateful.

Working with ITSme was a really positive and meaningful experience. Their support and guidance were key in helping me join the illustration agency that now represents me, and they were there for me every step of the way. They answered all my questions about the contract with care and clarity. Although responses took a little longer at the time, they were always kind and attentive. I’m truly grateful for their part in helping my career as an illustrator take off.

I signed up for ITSme's mentorship program for advice on developing a commercially viable book illustration program, and I ultimately got what I was looking for out of the program. They connected me with a mentor who told me about what niche within the market I would be the best fit for with my current style and gave me several prompts as a starting point for developing new portfolio entries. Upon finishing the program, I had 14 new illustrations to add to my website, bringing me fairly close to the target range of 15 to 20 portfolio entries that they recommended applying to agencies/publishers with.
