If I could give this company a negative star I would do so. This dating service is deceitful. They take advantage of people searching for connection. I have been lied to from their staff repeatedly. I sent a letter to the owner of the SF franchise and even with it being certified, it was returned to me. I have started a small claims court claim. During my interview, their rep took all the information about what I was looking for in a parter and she said (emphatically, think cheerleader tone) "I've got you girl! We have the best men." Then when I was set up on four different dates with men who did not meet ANY of my requirements, I was told I was being "picky." Isn't asking for specific attributes why we paid for a match making service? At the very start, IJL should have told me they did not have men in their database that met my qualifications. I have asked for a refund and told I could not have one, but when I referenced their contract, shame on me for not looking sooner, I read that I could have done so within certain criterion, of which, of course, I was not told about from anyone on their staff. I am embarrassed that I spent $5200 as it was a TREMENDOUS investment for me. I was misled, I was insulted, and I have wasted my time. I was depressed after every date, and I am extremely disappointed that I was a fool to believe IJL would perform. IJL is taking advantage of people who are seeking partners and may be vulnerable. (I was.) Placing a great amount of trust into a company such as IJL and its team, takes courage. If the company was operating in an above-board manner, all the details of the contract and expectations would be reiterated verbally. Any issues would be met with honesty, not false promises that get hopes up. I beg you not to use their services.

These people are terrible. I told them the parameters of no moms and no older women and that's the first two options they present. The matchmakers are slow getting back or don't even respond. Pricey service to get nothing but sub-par options in return. I tried to refund the service but they were keen on keeping the money and doing nothing because they are a "business." I am a man of high quality finances, health, lifestyle, career, etc, and am using a fake profile so they can't identify me.

I'll be quite honest with you, when it comes down to the Houston location for this franchise. it horrible. Once. Time. I went to a date with one of the EHS managers and the first thing he did at Travelers Table in Houston was put his feet up like he was hanging out for Super Bowl Sunday. At the rate of our conversation, it looked like his body language looked like he wanted to pull a chicken out of his ****. Let me back date to the time of the contract, since I'm speaking from a legal perspective. the problem with this particular contract is that the EHS manager, who is my first match, basically plucked his **** down at travelers table. If anyone wants to challenge me on this review, I still have the contract.

This company states there matchmatching service is like no others and I was told by the salesperson that spoke to me during the sign up time they had attorneys and even one she thought I should meet. This experience was awful and they sent me on 2 meeting dates with someone I would never be interested in! After 2 date meetings I requested a refund. I tried a partial refund for the stress and incompentency of this company. It was very expensive at $5100.00. They would not negotiate at all. I later read a lot of reviews on google and other sights with customers that had similar experiences and even paid different pricing than I for there matchmaking service. Do not USE this company.

If I could give a 0-star review, I would. I am beyond frustrated with It's Just Lunch. Not only were they unprofessional and misleading about their services, but they also set me up with someone who had two DUIs, drank excessively throughout the date, and then tried to get me to keep drinking by offering to drive me home (which I obviously declined). He had been on the site for ten years and made various rude comments during the date. I made it very clear upfront that I did not want to be paired with anyone who drinks heavily, yet that’s exactly who they matched me with. It was an incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe situation - a true liability. To make matters worse, they completely ignored my calls when I tried to address the issue, leaving me feeling completely disregarded. I feel misled and disrespected by It's Just Lunch. They not only failed to listen to my preferences, but they also put me in an unsafe situation. I would never recommend this service to anyone. Save your money and your time. This company does not care about creating matches, they only care about taking your money up front.

*WARNING: Avoid at All Costs!* They promise the world but fail to deliver. Their words are empty, and their actions are oppressive and bullying. Save yourself time, money, and stress. Do not sign up with them. Your wallet and well-being will thank you. *My Horrible Experience:* I am appalled and shocked by the utter lack of integrity and accountability displayed by this company. Despite paying a significant amount of money, I was grossly mismatched from the very beginning. The company's unprofessional behavior was unacceptable, and I did not want to waste any more of my time. Therefore, I requested a refund, and they refused to take responsibility for their mistakes and denied my refund request.

Spent thousands but went to no lunches. When I signed up, I was going on vacation, so they advised me to put my membership in hold. Unfortunately there was a limit to how long you can put your membership on hold. When an immediate family member died soon after that, my 6 months of hold ran out. They didn’t care, they didn’t offer me anything. They just said too bad and kept my money. They don’t care about actually introducing you to anyone one. When I was actually active briefly, the sent me offers to go on dates with people that were far beyond my very lenient criteria (e.g., morbidly obese, elderly). Also if you decline such an offer it counts against you, as if you used up one of your total allotted dates. The pool of dates is bad. Even after giving my feedback, they continued to offer me similar dates. Edit - they replied below that they tried to reach out to me. This is untrue - no one ever reached out to me or responded to me. I would have been amenable to finding a resolution.
