The narrative keeps changing and I believe they are afraid to be honest about actual available matches. I'm told that my approved dating hub is the where I can talk about dates. However, they have routinely sent matches that are outside my hub. The few that they have sent who actually lived in Birmingham. Were always referred to as someone new who signed up for the service. I'm really disappointed right now because they just haven't been honest. Getting a phone call to discuss matching/matches.... then they change the discussion via email. Also, never answer the phone when I call. I just want someone to be honest. At this moment, it is not worth the money to me. However, they hold all the cards. Seem more concerned with money instead of being honest about matching.

Signed up back in 2018 in Vancouver. It was initially very good, but since the pandemic of 2020, I haven't heard much from them. I have tried to contact them since then on a few occasions, but never a response, just generic announcements. I'm even starting to get bounce back emails saying the email address no longer exists (including the one noted in the contract). I've had 3 out of 8 dates that was offered and the contract stated that it's in effect after 1 year or 8 dates, whichever comes later. Among the lack of response, I've gotten married after meeting her on an online dating site. I get that the pandemic happened, but ultimately the contract terms was not met and couldn't logically be met given my circumstance. Update - After talking to IJL after leaving this review, I was left disappointed still. I found that an email I sent didn't get received by anyone until 3 months later. In a relationship, communication is key. I don't think I can trust this company to uphold this key value when it comes to establishing relationships. On top of that, I was offered a complementary membership in the event my wife and I part ways. Sigh. In terms of the contract aspect though, I reviewed it and confirmed there were no issues and was followed as is (there was something that I missed).

I am disappointed with the value of services of IJL for the fee that I paid. There is inconsistency in the contact. Often times, there is not a specific phone number or extension to reach that individual. My initial contact left, and I was not notified. I called and emailed, then I finally called the general IJL number. The last coordinator has been a little more consistent in communication. The matches I meet with are often times just left a voice mail and depending on their membership level, do not have a photograph of me so it is literally a blind date when we meet up. Location of the meeting could be better, as one individual had to drive 3 hours to get to downtown Nashville. This wouldn't work for a longer term relationship. The male match does not receive a follow-up evaluation to see how I was as a date.

Started off strong. Had about 4-5 dates every 2 weeks apart. I have not been contacted about another date within the last month. The monthly payment isn't worth it because they loose touch with you after awhile.

Decided to sign up for the service in spring 2021 on a 12 month / $4500 plan for the Orlando franchise after it was recommended by friends. For a real world results over a 5 month period I went on three dates and also received multiple match requests that were outside my preferences. Based on the high cost and the real world results i've seen over the last few months I wouldn't reccomend this match making service. I'd go as far to recommend people try free dating apps first such Bumble, Hinge or OkCupid for the below reasons: -Better pictures on the apps, most matches for this service just send a single picture while dating apps have 5 to 6 pictures for each profile -Dating Apps are free to use or for premium account upgrades are reasonably priced while this service costs thousands of $$$ -Match Making service brag during the sales pitch how they offer one of a kind "elite" matches but in reality the thousands of dollar cost for the service just means ITJ's real world dating pool is much smaller compared to free Apps -The format for this match making service is going to "2nd date" formal sit down restaurants which can be costly and also less casual than 1st date options like a coffee shop

I struggled with the first dates. I asked for some level of fitness and one date had arms bigger than my head and was morbidly obese. The other dates problems were mostly on my end but several gave me their numbers then ghosted me.
