DON’T BE SCAMMED! I’m a professional who signed up to keep my dating discreet (I manage several people and would be mortified to be matched with them through online dating apps as their single boss). It was so discreet I paid $4500 and got one date- with a guy who swapped our credit cards when the bill came so I’d have to see him again. Extremely poor customer service, they didn’t take anything I was looking for into account, “matchmakers” probably aren’t actually qualified based on my phone conversations with them,.. I could go on and on. I reported them to BBB and after all the money spent I only received a single date, all other matches were people I would never go out with (not just because of looks but because of religious preferences, children - things that matter).. I wish I could get my money back and warn more people. The service I signed up for was in the Los Angeles area.

My advice to others considering working with this company would be simply, do not do it! My experience with this company has been nothing short of awful. After multiple incidences of miscommunication and downright incompetence, I informed the company that I was no longer comfortable working with them and requested that my service be terminated. They quickly let me know that a refund would not be issued, stating that I had “refused services” which was complete and utter dishonesty. They also accused me of “not giving the membership or process a chance”, after I had invested $2,000 in to the service and had nothing but frustration to show for it. In my opinion this company is running an elaborate scam and I would advise extreme caution in working with them lest you also want your money stolen from you. In response to It’s Just Lunch reply: you all know full well why that date was “canceled”. As I have come to expect from this company: underhanded.

It’s Just Lunch is a scam. They stole my money. In a year I only got 5 dates, none even close to what I wanted. I was told I had to settle and would never listen to me or return calls, even though I paid a high price for their services and I was their client. Two dates were canceled, two did not show up. So belittling and a such a waste of time and money. They have no clients for you to meet, and the couple they do were unacceptable. I have had so much better luck on dating apps. Do not do it!!!!

I have been very disappointed with this service, considering how much it costs. Before I signed up I specifically asked if they had a lot of women on my age range (52) and they assured me yes, they had hundreds in the Nashville area. Well it turns out that wasn’t true. I signed up in April and they send me the pictures of lovely women and tell me they are going to set me up with these ladies. The problem is the women have to agree to go out with me after seeing my pictures. I’m not a very good looking guy, I’m way too skinny. So most of the women say “No” and I never get dates with them. I’ve only had three first dates. I was able to make conversation with them easily and I thought we had good dates. But I asked if they wanted second dates, they all three gave me lame excuses for why they didn’t want to go out with me again. The bottom line was, I can read between the lines, they weren’t attracted to me. Now Ivette has told me they have no other options for a date for me and it may take 2-3 more weeks or longer before they can get me another date. So they didn’t have nearly as women in my age range as they told me when they convinced me to sign up. She told me I am “guaranteed” to get 24 matches. But how long will this take? Three years? Five years? That’s not what I signed up for. And ultimately I don’t really want 24 dates, I’d like to meet a woman who doesn’t judge me on my looks, but on my personality, my character and who will like to go out on second dates and build a relationship. I don’t think that can happen with this because the entire emphasis is on looks. And they don’t have enough women in my age range. And even though the contract states that if they aren’t able to meet your expectations, you would be issued a refund, Ivette told me I’m not eligible for the refund.

I would not recommend It's Just Lunch. It is a total sales process. I have been on one dinner in a little over 60 days. Their responses to emails takes days and DO NOT tell them the person they "matched" with you did not work out. They take it very personal and no more dates for you.

FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD! Warning! Don't join It's Just Lunch! They are the biggest fraud on this planet. Here is my story. i joined their service in Nov 2019 and sales girl really talked me into this. She convinced to join It's Just Lunch! for a 12 months 24 dates package. They will talk to you very nicely before you join them. Sweet talkers. i am a victim of that. So what they do is they will give you a match maker after you join. i was given a match maker very first day of joining. When i talked to the match maker i came to know Sales girl and match maker don't even match on their thinking, i was like damn i got screwed i paid already and now i am stuck. it is a lot of money. i paid 4000$. then i called this sales lady and i said this is what your matchmaker is saying and you told me something else about your process of picking matches. One more thing they have no online systems, so there is your RED flag. Anyways i said i wanna cancel my services and refund me my money. Sales lady said give me one more chance and i will fix it, i will give another match maker, she again convinced me. this all was communicated through emails, i have all email conversations. then i was given famous match maker Vanessa. Now this match maker will appear only once a month or only when i call her or do a follow up. Anyways i got first match after almost 2 months, Guess what that match person was no where close to what i was told about her, i felt like they planted that person, Fraud, another RED flag. then i called Vanessa and said please don't repeat the same thing, i am looking for someone serious. She said just go out and have fun on dates, i was like what the hell, i can have fun without even joining It's Just Lunch! i wanna meet someone like minded. i am highly educated and i want someone similar. i paid lot of money for this and i want quality dates. one more thing 12 months ,24 dates package , that means atleast 2 dates per month or more, this was the promise done by sales lady. Vanessa said no it is only 1 date per month, i said i don't see that anywhere in the contract. She said it is there in the contract, i said show me where it is, call me, lets do a facetime. guess what she was wrong and she never wanted to do facetime. Another Red Flag. i asked Vanessa to give me a call for 5 mins every friday just to discuss what is going on with my profile and what she did for my potential matches. guess what one month passed She disappeared. Sales lady also disappeared, no longer with It's Just Lunch! RED FLAG! i said this is not what i expected and i want my money back. GUYS PLEASE DON'T JOIN It's Just Lunch! DON'T SPEND 4000$ . they are not worth it. Once you join they will treat you like trash. i sent an email to It's Just Lunch! CEO, Her name is Melissa Brown, i sent all these details to her, She had her VP's call me and discuss my case, i explained my case and i clearly said i want my money back. As per their contract i am not eligible for refund, well i was also not eligible to get horrible services , who will pay for that? These people don't care about their customers. RED FLAGS all around, please don't join It's Just Lunch! i have all the email communications with me. Regards Sunil
