I must say that of all the 4x that I hired Megan, except the one research that we could not find anything, I was completely amazed as to what was found.

**UPDATE: so while i still suggest that one should try the free services at their local library first… the company did at least come back and apologized and is working with me to make things right. But I am sad that I had to write a review for them to listen to me. ** original**I am very disappointed. I provided all the family history documentation and history and then this “researcher” took my $1,300 and said that they were unable to find any recent records in Ireland. I then went to my local library and found lots of information on my own, including living relatives in Ireland. This is a complete scam. I asked for my money back and they said that is not possible because they don’t have to find any information and that can be a relative finding. This is a SCAM.

I thought Megan McIntyre did a great job of finding out about my great-great-grandfather Martin Cahill and if he ever came to USA or California from Ireland. I have original deeds to the property that the family owned on Cahill Ridge in San Mateo County, California in the 1880's that name Anthony Cahill (Martin's brother) and Mary Cahill (Anthony's sister) who transferred the property to my great grandfather Laurence Cahill, Sr. Turns out Martin (father of my great grandfather) died in Ireland at age 38 in 1855 and Megan found where his gravesite is. Megan also found where Martin Cahill lived in Ireland, who his parents were, and who he married in Ireland. Maps and coordinates in Ireland were also provided.

I have been doning genealogical research for almost 30 years and like many descendants of Irish ancestors, I hit a brick wall when it came to finding Irish records for my ancestors as there names were just too common. By hiring Irish Researchers, I was able to get many of my questions answered with a 54 page report. They also included specifics on unanswered questions. All sources were cited and I was impressed with how creative they were in sleuthing. It was a job well done!!

While we were not able to find the records we were hoping for, the researcher was very thorough and found a lot of interesting information for us. She did a great job and we would use this company again.
