I- Ready is not good for children's mental health. My kids take about 4 hours to do only one lesson! It is nerve-wracking and stressful for my ten- year old twins. I hope this review helps with your decision on if you should use this website. Thank you for your time.

I-ready is the WORST "learning tool" ever. When you put in an answer and it will say that it is wrong and then tell you the answer you just put in is correct. I-Ready just stresses students out and is more trouble than it is worth. Iready doesn't even teach you anything, it just tells you the right and wrong answer. Teachers don't understand how IReady doesn't even help and explodes our brain cells from frustration and bordem. ITTTTT SUCKKKKKKS. DO NOT USE!!!!

I would give this zero stars if I could. Absolute HOT GARBAGE. The voice takes so dang slow to talk, I literally know the answer before it shuts the heck up. And when you get it wrong , it explains it for like a WHOLE MINUTE. It should give you multiple tries, then explain it. Also, it doesn't even teach it right. And also, lots of the times the answers it says are "correct" are just plain wrong. And when you fail the quiz, it gives you the SAME DANG LESSON AGAIN. Just change the problems up a bit, they didn't even try. I'm not kidding, I AM LOSING BRAINCELLS DOING THIS. I swear, and lots of teachers have you do the lessons for a specific time. I'm not a kid who cheats a lot, but this is so mind-numbing that I just have it running while I do other assignments and answer a question every like 5 minutes.

I-Ready is a complete waste of time. It takes an average of 45 minutes for each lesson, and if one does not exit it correctly, progress can be erased. I am in an advanced GT program and we are used to learning content at a faster pace. I-Ready reads out each question with maximum slowness before even letting you see the answer choices. This is personally the dumbest “learning tool” I have encountered during all my years of schooling, and I doubt anything will surpass it in terms of stupidity. Additionally, the “My Path” personalised plan is the same exact thing for everybody. My Path is a scam; it should be called “Everyone’s Path” or something. Myself, I am taking both Geometry and Algebra II this year yet my diagnostic scores insist adamantly that I am “At Grade 8!” I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to put up with learning about how to plot points on a graph. The reading section of I-Ready is written in the exact same style throughout the entire course. It always talks from a 1st person point of view about topics like “Oh no! Some people can’t learn about household skills at home, so we should teach them at school because they are just as important!” Or “Teen independence! Teens should be more independent!” I am sick and tired of this nonsense and I-Ready exploding my brain cells one by one. There is no way for I-Ready to improve from its current state. It exists for the sole purpose of reminding us students how powerless we are when a new software is introduced to us that we do not enjoy or agree with.
