I am a student who used this program in kindergarten to 5th grade. I have a memory that is still with me even in 6th grade, 1 week away to 7th. I cried in 4th grade because there was a lesson that took me one hour because it was teaching me things the program and the school never taught me, and I got a low score, and I had to restart the stressing lesson again. The only good thing about I-ready was the cartoons. But guess what? THEY REMOVED THE CARTOONS IN A FAILED REBRAND CALLED IREADY PRO. I'm so glad I'm using ALEKS and IXL, since they let me choose my lesson and skip them if I don't like them.

This website is such a WASTE OF TIME, I’m in 7th grade now so I have iready “pro” the pro lessons take about 30 minutes to complete on average. In 1-3 grade iready was fun because of the cartoon characters, and brain break games but in iready pro it removes all of those and replaces them with an xp system which have absolutely no purpose at all and a breathing video that looks and sounds like it was made in 1992. And after a while I started to realize that “youp and ploy” just felt… soulless. Then there is the “diagnostic” or as I like to call it “the torture chamber” has students sit down for nearly 2 whole hours just to receive lessons that students have probably already seen before. I personally think that curriculum associates (the creators of iready) made iready for the sole purpose of torturing students. Curriculum associates was also recently sued for harvesting and selling student learning data. If curriculum associates actually shuts down on that day if they do I will have the best sleep ever.

Honestly, I have some serious beef with I ready. the reading lessons are like: "read an article about cars" "ok" "what was this article about?" "cars" "ok now read an article about this" and then it becomes a cycle. the articles are boring and then it gets the audacity to ask me if I like the lesson or smth. LIKE NO BRO WHAT TYPO QUESTION IS THIS?? Also, if you get 3 questions wrong on the quiz, you fail the whole lesson. And the math lessons are no better. The lessons are like 30 minutes long and the quiz is also long. And if you fail 2 questions it will make you fail the whole thing. Then you'll have to do the whole thing again with no guidence. One of my friends in my 4th grade class had 8th grade questions. The I ready system said he was ignorant, meanwhile bro had impossible questions for a 4th grader. it was also field day too so he couldnt go out and chill with the guys. And the diagnostic? its the worst part. the questions are unadvanced and they're the boring thing. Its really stressing too. the articles are long.. like really long. And the brain breaks dont help at all. But the Iready pro diagnostic is just an useless breathing exercise. The diagnostic takes 2 hours which is really long its self. The video at the start is really boring and the tips don't actually help. And it also tells you that you should get half the questions wrong. and also it tells you that if you get the wrong lessons after the diagnostics its all on you. but its also making the questions harder and easier depending if u get them right or wrong. and when you get them wrong when you get 12th grade questions, congratulations you got the easiest questions in iready. BAN I READY ATP

In my opinion I think that this is the worst website to use for learning because it make kids stressed and also it does not teach kid what they need to be reached like for example a 7th grader can get like 12th grade problem that only 12th grader know and it affects the education of many people and also it gives you a low percentage sometimes like for example today I was on I ready and on a lesson I only got 3 answers wrong and the rest of them correct and I still failed but on other lessons I get 3 answers wrong and I pass so parents, kids, teachers, or principles if you see this do not make kids go on I ready its a website that is not recommended to use for kids in elementary, middle, and high school I would rather use other websites that are more organized than kids unlike this one.

I hate this i get in trouble for getting in trouble for getting it wrong and they just say "thats wrong try again! " and it pisses me off

I ready forces you try again and again its makes students tired they force students to skip through a very long instructions ,also makes people stress it could ruin the human body due to so much stress over a questions and the screen time is unacceptable

As a sixth grader who has used this app for 2 years, here's just a quick idea of what happens. Diagnostic: oh hi, you just completed 3 questions correctly in a row! now summon the anti Christ. I know, I know, your tired of doing bs questions! here's a horrid break section that we replaced that used to be an actual break. The menu: So..
