InTheMoneyStocks.com was established in 2007 with the goal of helping average investors compete and beat the Wall Street elite. Founders, Gareth Soloway and Nicholas Santiago spent years (prior to launch) developing the PPT Methodology, a simple way to analyze charts (stocks, commodities, forex, crypto… etc), finding the next directional move with a proven 82% success rate (94% for day trading). With tens-of-thousands of members since their launch in 2007, and many hedge fund clients, InTheMoneyStocks.com is now a household name with investors and traders all over the world. InTheMoneyStocks is one of the oldest proprietary trade alert firms on the internet, which shows the long lasting positive and profitable impact on the lives of our members. We pride ourselves on being transparent, open and honest, not only giving our live trades to our members, but teaching them how to analyze charts and learn how to find the next market cycle via the PPT Methodology.

Look at their "Verified Investing Crypto Trades Portfolio" track record they publish on their web page. Compare the dates and prices to the numbers at Coingecko or TradingView. They do NOT match! In every trade i checked, either entry or exit or both prices were not in the ranges actually found for the date. it's called a lie.
Response from In The Money StocksJul 6, 2023
This review is yet another example of why any reader should NEVER trust these bad reviews. This person does not even understand the track record and is stating blatant LIES - which is very obvious. The reason for this is very clear, and anyone who actually used the service would know; the positions are based on average entries. If this reviewer actually used the service he would know that. Instead of learning and profiting with us, this person chose to be a troll and post false information. Lesson to all the readers... DO NOT BE LIKE THIS GUY!

Demeaning and disgusting response
I had been communicating with Gareth via Twitter when I reached out respectfully in frustration as the unrealized losses were mounting well beyond the realized gains and his reply speaks for itself, via the screenshot. Absolutely disgusting. Needless to say, I will never do business with someone who would treat a client like this.

Stay away you will lose money for sure
Bad signal he exit good trade early and keep adding to the short and losing one until your account get liquidated. His signal changed target and price …. He keep moving SL and the biggest position are in loss while he make 8% on small one so you are always in loss … lost 12K on this service …. He keep shorting any aggressive move and when he is wrong to don’t take loss he keep adding and leve position open forever to don’t show losses

There is a lot of "smoke and mirrors"…
There is a lot of "smoke and mirrors" on this trading site. I was a member first of "Verified Investing Crypto" for about 8 or 9 months, then switched to "In the Money Stocks". The crypto service is pretty new, so the track record is pretty transparent. However, on the stock service, I would say that the "open trades" do not represent past "losers"........ they either just stay in active trades or they disappear. I tried to ascertain how much of his portfolio had "disappeared" this way by following open trades in 2021 that never became "closed trades" and somehow just slid off the books........ it was a huge amount. Which was pretty alarming. That's when my eyes opened. Don't believe me, look for yourself. ALSO the other problem is that his "method" is to invest minuscule amounts of his portfolio at a time, like 1%. I call these the "one off's" where if he's called it correctly, and to be fair, he does call things well most of the time, the problem is that if you make 10% on 1% of your portfolio, that's a POINT ONE percent return on your portfolio, not a 10 percent return. You would need fifty 10% return trades on a 1% investment to make a 5% on your portfolio. He justifies this by saying "we enter small and add". Well what that means is he has NO STOPS and he just keeps throwing money at losers, sometimes to the tune of 10% of your portfolio or more. Then they can languish for weeks or months with you stressing out about it. When they do turn around, IF they turn around, he will be happy with a 5-7% return just to get out. Which means that you risked 10% of your portfolio to make a POINT FIVE to POINT SEVEN percent return on your entire portfolio. So if your portfolio is $100K, then that 10% follow the looser return will yield you only POINT 5-7% on your $100K. It all sounds good until you really sit down and look at how insane this is. I followed his advice, made a few hundred bucks here and there and all my profits were wiped out in one lousy trade he kept telling us to follow down the sewer. If you don't follow him and keep throwing money at it, you definitely will always lose because you're stuck with shares that he has "cost price averaged" down the drain. So you aren't getting a HUGE return for the stress you have to endure. I do think he has some good trading advice, I think that if you can just use it for a daily review of the market, and be EXTREMELY cautious about his trades, then go for it. I learned about charting and I would say that I was "schooled" in looking at trading ETF's, shorting, etc. So for that, I feel he was worth it. But I'm getting out because it's wearing thin and I don't like listening to the BS anymore.

Here's the scam.
Here's the scam.
Gareth takes tiny profits and claims he therefore succeeds 90% of the time. But if you make $1 9 times, and on the tenth time you lose $1,000, you are a BIG loser.
He lets his losers run forever, so he never has to "take a loss". But his client's accounts are getting emptied.
He bought TLT ages ago, and has done nothing but drop. It's his biggest position by FAR, and it has wiped out huge amounts of equity. Meanwhile, he crows about tiny positions that made a few cents of profit...profits YOU won't even get, as he uses entry and exit prices that YOU can't get.
Take a lot of tiny (and sometimes imaginary) winners. Never bail out of your losing trades, and just let them grow to huge losses....but never admit a loss since you never close the losing trade. Then claim a 90% success rate, even though your clients are going broke.

Just don't.
I have been a member for almost 1 1/2 years now and these guys have no professional trading education themselves.
The strategies they are using might work in some markets but the last two years were basically the biggest bull market in history and I lost a substantial amount of money with the investing alerts.
These guys are short big tech for over 1 1/2 years and long china stocks for a good while. Both went in the complete opposite direction. And when it goes against you they don't adhere to their own stop losses.
There will be money added to losing trades and winning trades will just be closed after 1-10%.
No consideration of what's important (fundamentals) and it's all about charts (because it's easy to learn and easy understandable).
I would recommend to invest in a program with fundamental analysis. This is crazy and irresponsible trading and the complete opposite of what serious hedge fund managers do.
Edit: You WILL have insufficient margin at some point but it can take a good while because initial position sizes are very small.
Just subscribe and look at their open positions. Especially big tech. They kept on shorting Tesla when it was going up for months and they keep on shorting Nvidia when its up 1300% from October 2022.

I lost thousands of dollars thanks to…
I lost thousands of dollars thanks to Gareth's bad calls. Tons of bad calls including Chinese tech stocks and crypto predictions. I wish I had never signed up for his service. I'm here today to warn people to not make the same mistake I made. Looks like some of the 5-star reviews are fake. Nobody posted a review since September. Wait a few days and I'm sure several fake 5 star reviews are going to pop up. *Edited November 14: Can you see all the fake 5 star reviews that appeared within days of my negative review? Living proof of fraud! Have you been burnt by this company as well? Contact me on Facebook (Gerry A Summer) and let's file an action class lawsuit against this company.

You can believe that these 5 star…
You can believe that these 5 star reviews are real, join the day trading or swing trading plan, and then you will learn the truth after losing huge amounts of money.
Gareth's occasional winners will mean nothing compared to his giant losses. I followed his exact trades (many I even got in at a better position than he did) and the losses just kept piling on week after week. I was following his trades for 2 months.
His "track record" on his website should only take you a few minutes to realize why it's complete BS. Unfortunately, I fell for it and it became obvious after joining the plan and looking into the numbers. He only posts occasional small losses. He keeps his big losses indefinitely to protect his fake "chart". And he doesn't display the position size. Normally he makes his bigger gains on small positions. And giant losses on large positions.
