I’m not one for reviews, positive or negative.. however, given the monumental shifts I’ve noticed in myself after attending IPM’s product leader blueprint program, I felt it was my duty to inform my fellow PMs to sign up for this program. If I’m honest, I came to the program pretty broken, I lost so much confidence over the years, and was considering pivoting to a different career all together. After early success at the start of my PM career, I felt tired, unseen, not valued, not heard… I felt completely lost.. This investment in my product management career was my last hurrah, and boy am I glad I did it. I 1000% have my confidence back, AND was able to highlight my worth through TWO career moves during the course of the program. You’ll learn how to tap into yourself, and shine as a product leader. The team at IPM has put together a very thoughtful program, one that just doesn’t focus on purely academic product content.. I mean let’s face it, You can 100% find similar content online, possibly even for free. But it’s how it all comes together, especially the mindfulness aspects of the program; that make a huge difference. It’s also amazing to be learning side by side countless other PMs, from a wide range of backgrounds, most of not all from highly respect companies. If you’re on the fence, I get it.. it’s hard to shell out money like this.. but I implore you, to look beyond the he typical PM content that’s out there, and realize that to truly become a leader in this field; you will need to totally shift your mindset… THIS is that IPM will do for you.. Word of caution.. you WILL need to do work, what you put into this program is what you get from it. There is no magic pill.

Thanks to IPM, my self framing has changed dramatically. If I was unsure how to position myself on the job market before, now I'm in a job that I love and I feel like I have the key for future success. I'm very grateful to have overcome my concerns about the value of this program and I highly recommend it to any Product Manager or aspiring Product Manager!

Thanks to the Intentional Job Search program, I landed my first product management role. My roadblock was that I had worked in fields related to product management but never as a product manager. Sam and Shobhit helped me tell the story to land this role. They guided me through the interview process, enabled me to improve my communication skills, and practiced my interviews until I was good to go! I now could tell my story so much more effectively, and I gained the confidence that I could overcome the obstacle of not having a PM title before. As a recent immigrant, they supported me in any way they could and made my transition to the US so much easier. I was prepared to spend a year here without a role, but thanks to them, I landed a position at a well-known telecommunications company with good compensation! I highly encourage everyone to consider this program for landing their first or next role!

When I joined Product Leader Blueprint, I was seeking confidence in my skills as a product manager, primarily how I communicated and came across every day. I used to take personal responsibility for every fire I was fighting. I felt stuck in my career. I thought I needed to get an MBA - that seemed to be the “well-lit path” but because of various personal commitments it was not an option. Shobhit’s videos and LinkedIn messages struck a chord with me and speaking with Shobhit convinced me that joining Product Leader Blueprint would give me targeted knowledge that I wouldn’t get from an MBA. I hired my first direct report at the same time I started the program and quickly began to notice my confidence rise as I went through the curriculum. I loved the group calls and learned a lot from other product managers. The calls had a multiplier effect on what I was learning and gave me a chance to hear how others dealt with the same situations I encountered. I now lead a three-person team, and we are known as the highest performing team at the company. As a result of what I learned I got a promotion I’ve been working towards for a long time to Director of Product Management. But, not just that–I was also made Head of Product for all 4 sister companies and will soon be adding four more people to my team. I wouldn’t be where I am right now without the program, and I am grateful for everything I have learned! I encourage everyone to take this program no matter how long you have been in product management. Even though I’ve been in product management for a number of years, I would have benefited even more if I had done this program two years into my product management career.

I joined the program when I started my job search. The coaches helped me understand the interview expectations for the Product Management role, especially at FAANG companies. It also provided a great platform to practice my interview responses. The feedback shared during practice sessions contributed to my interview success. In the end, I applied to one dream job and got it - a Senior Product Manager role at Amazon! I would definitely recommend the IJS program for anyone who has been in the Product Management space and looking for their next role or for anyone who wants to transition to a Product Management role.

Thanks to the Intentional Job Search program, I landed desired product management role! Before I joined the program, I felt that I lacked the discipline to land this role. I wanted to find something that would give me a step-by-step approach to transition into product management. I did some certifications, and they helped convince me that the product management role was the right choice as the next step in my career. I also looked through videos and blogs. However, I struggled with articulating myself in my interviews, and I could not communicate what I knew. Certifications were excellent, but they did not give me the direct feedback I needed or encouragement to succeed. I happened to see a Facebook ad from Shobhit, and in the first call, he gave me the confidence that I could do this! So I decided to invest in the program. Through the program, I built confidence to quickly learn the required skills and communicate my experience to land the role. I got rejected in my first interview after getting to the final round. Shobhit and Sam helped me quickly regain my confidence and change my mindset to double down on my job search. The coaches helped me translate my experience into product management terms. I had never had a Product Manager title but played the role of an internal PM. I now could tell my story so much more effectively, and I gained the confidence that I could overcome the obstacle of not having a PM title before. The practice interviews were invaluable. The community was amazing and helped me learn from other people in the same boat. When I interviewed at my current company, I was not selected for the first role. However, the hiring manager CREATED a product manager role specifically for me! This role gives me a tremendous sense of pride that they went and created this role for me. I continue to work with Intentional Product Manager through their Product Leadership Blueprint and Tribe programs. I am sure they will have a long-lasting impact on my career. I have found my mentors and coaches in Shobhit and Sam. I highly encourage everyone to consider this program for landing their dream role! You will not just land that dream role, but you will also build your communication and skills to help you succeed in your career.

Thanks to the Intentional Job Search program, I landed my dream role at Google! Before I joined IJS, I was an accomplished product manager. I followed the latest trends in product management; connected to all the most outstanding product leaders in the community. However, I had struggled in interviews and failed many times to land my dream roles at companies like Google. These reasons prompted me to join this program. I got structured feedback about my mock interviews week over week in the program. As a result, I was able to get input on structural problems in my thinking. Previously, I had done packages of interviews from other sites, and it seemed that every time I was getting the same high-level feedback based on the first impression of me. IJS’s distinctions made a massive difference for me. Another significant benefit was that I got direct feedback on other aspects ranging from positioning the camera and microphone, taking notes, communicating, and overcoming the unconscious habits that made me appear less competent than I was. Additionally, I was surprised by how strong the community is! We support each other through cases where they failed or celebrated when people had offers. I referred one of the community members to an Amazon role that I could not convert, and they made it in. I was so happy about their success! With all the feedback, encouragement, and support from the Intentional Product Manager, I was able to land my dream role at Google! I encourage everyone to consider this program strongly - it might be the missing link between you and your dream role!

When I joined the Intentional Job Search program, I sought to transition into my first Tech Product Manager role. After self-introspection, I was 100% clear about what I wanted; I sought out mentors. I was heavily influenced by Shobhit’s posts and felt he knew what he was talking about. Intentional Job Search helped me transition effectively to a Senior Product Manager role. Some parts of the program surprised me a lot, including how important and influential it was working with Sam to build out my story and the supportive community part of the program. I improved continuously through the program. I went from no interviews to landing so many interviews that I did not have time for all of them, then advancing to second rounds, and then getting multiple offers. The program coaches personally supported me through each step. I used to think that getting a Product Management role was about knowing everything PMs are supposed to do. Through the program. I learned that it was actually about telling my story effectively and having the confidence to tackle any question the interviewer might throw at me. That would not have mattered without the program. I landed a significant role at Animoto and continue to work with the Intentional Product Manager as part of their Product Leader Blueprint and Tribe programs to accelerate my success in the program.
