Love the package and the pricing is suitable for myself as a personal user. The update was a little confusing to choose as it seemed to keep directing me to a usb dongle option and different pricing.

CMS has been my default CAD for quite a few years now. Easy to install, and has several configurations.

I was totally surprised by the quality and functionality of the software. I am going to upgrade to 15PE shortly. I have been running CAD (AutoCAD, Bently, Dassault) ect. since 1989 and I give Intellicad two thumbs up.

Fast accurate response answered my question.

I purchased hobbycad but did not receive an activation key. After a complaint, they did send the activation key and the product is working well so far.

I put my purchase in the shopping cart but didn’t complete the sale. A short time later I received an email from CADHobby stating they saw I still had an item in my cart and that I would receive a $10.00 discount if I completed the purchase. I completed the purchase and was charged the full $99.95 price. I sent a message regarding this and was then told that the discount only applies to the $149.95 purchase. This was not stated in the original email sent to me. I should not have been sent the original email if my purchase didn’t qualify or it should have been made clear that I needed to up-purchase in order to take advantage of the discount. Not a good way to start off with a new customer. Added in response to the company reply: it was not in the first email to me nor was it in a second where I was told it should have been automatically applied and if it didn’t you gave me to a promo code to use. In a third, after the fact, email I was told the PROMO CODE only works with the more expensive purchase. In a fourth email, about 7 hours after my purchase, it was stated that the promo was for the higher priced option only. My critique stands as I originally wrote it. It was clearly not spelled out in the original or 2 out of 3 subsequent emails sent. Your emails were misleading at worst and confusing at best.

I am a recently retired survey draftsman, Have been using AutoCAD and IntelliCAD since 1990. I cannot justify spending a lot of money on a CAD package, but CADhobby is excellent and affordable. Very happy!

Good product and very similar in function to Autocad. I am only drawing in 2D for CNC plasma table. Doing what I need it to do.
