**Title: Do Not Recommend Colonial Penn Life Insurance for Seniors
I am deeply disappointed with Colonial Penn Life Insurance and would not recommend this company to any seniors. My parents had a policy with them for a year, paying $20.00 per month, totaling $240.00. Sadly, my father, Howard Sparks, passed away recently, but unfortunately, before the two-year period required to receive full benefits from the policy.
When I contacted Colonial Penn to process the claim, my mother was informed that the death benefit would only be $114.00. Given the premiums paid and the terms of the policy, this outcome is extremely frustrating. We were led to believe that this insurance would provide significant support, but it has left us feeling misled and undervalued.
It is disheartening to see that what was marketed as a form of financial support for seniors resulted in such a minimal payout. I strongly feel that Colonial Penn needs to review and improve the transparency and fairness of their policies to better serve their customers' needs.
I would advise all seniors to think twice before choosing Colonial Penn for life insurance. Their policies do not seem to deliver the support they promise.

Marty, Above all, I am so sorry for your loss and wish you reach out to us before you got the policy for your dad.
Overall, I could not agree with you more, but we have ZERO affiliation with Colonial Penn or their 995 plan! We did write a review on their product that is brutally honest on how they have misleading advertising in addition to their rates being 30-50% higher with a waiting period even if you are in pristine health.
Unfortunatley for us, when you Google "Colonial Penn 995 plan" or "995 Plan" you will see our Review of their product. This is to inform seniors to stay away. Again WE DO NOT OFFER OR HAVE ANY AFFILIATION WITH COLONIAL PENN!!!
You left us a 1 star review confusing us with them. I would appreciate it if you updated this as you wrote this about Colonial Penn and thought we were them.
We are senior advocates and DO NOT offer or are in anyway affiliated with Colonial Penn. We are a family owned business.
My name is Danny Ray, the owner, feel free to contact me 855-380-3300 ext 4 for a more detailed conversation.

Rude and threatening
Rude and threatening! Would not recommend him to anyone. Will be filing reports with the proper places 1st thing in the morning. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
I see he responded so I will leave my reply here. I was contacted by his secretary or whoever she is to see if we were interested in life insurance. When we didn't respond to him right away we were flooded we phone called ,emails , and text messages. He would text me then email me immediately after. Then yesterday I was at the store my phone dropped the call and he claimes I hung up on him. I responded back telling him I was sorry and explained what had happened. I also stated that I didn't like the fact that he was pushy . After that a parade of emails ,texts ect went on till 11pm last night. He stated be was black listing me and calling me a liar. I have saved all messages, emails, voice mails from him ect. I will be posting a link with all screen shots as well. I have spoken to the companies he has been representing and they were very unhappy to see how he has acted after emailing them the proof. After we are done contacting the places that need to be I will post a link to those we well. Let me add my husband is retired Law Enforcement and Danny has emailed my husband's personal information including SSN ,POE, ect in a unsecured manner.

B, I am sorry you feel this way. We have over 20,000 likes on social media and never had less than a 4-star review until now. I always speak to clients with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. But most importantly a dual respect. I am sure the thousands of clients that I have over the years would say the same.
With that said, at first, I thought you have mistaken us as someone else or maybe you were speaking to another agent and were confused because you said that my assistant was inquiring to you about life insurance which is farthest from the truth. You inquired to us through a partners website, I have your IP address and the date you initiated contact.
But what is really shocking, is that we spoke on 6/8/2018 @5:11pm and spoke about multiple strategies and after over 1 hour on the phone, I took your application and submitted it. I have call logs and notes on the conversation. We spoke about our dogs and your husband's prior work and the accident you were recently in and your health history. I sent you a screenshot of the date and time and the personal information that you had given in order to make it possible to apply, SS#, DL# and employer, annual income etc. Again this is information ONLY YOU would provide to apply for life insurance.
Then, the processing division reached out and verified all the information at 7:31pm that evening, (Have the confirmation email), and the phone interview was completed and your application was sent off to the carrier as you wished. Again never once were we pushy and that's not how we do business and it has never been.
The underwriter received your application and started the underwriting process on 6/11/2018. The only way this happens is by electronically signing documents which we have records of that are time stamped. You also scheduled the exam for 6/24 at 9:15am.
Then on 6/23/2018, you canceled the appointment due to your sons birthday which is fine, life happens and rescheduling is common. Again these calls are not coming from my office and up to this point we had called on 3 occasions and no calls were made after 6/8/2018 from my office. But the examining company will still initiate contact daily to get your exam scheduled. Again never once did you say you wanted to cancel the process up to this point.
The examiner reached out again multiple times leaving messages. I have all the times and dates that they tried, and again you never once called them back to say you were no longer interested.
On 7/17/2018 at 5:21pm, I called and left a message, this was the FIRST call from my office since 6/8/2018 and also texted you "Hey B******, Its Danny Ray your life insurance agent. We applied for B**** a little over a month ago and my team has been trying to reach you to verify and schedule the exam for B**** with no success. Give me a call when you get a chance, (855) 380-3300 x2. Looking forward to speaking to you." Never once was I rude and never pushy!!
Yesterday the examiner office sent me an email saying you have been unresponsive to the countless voicemails that were sent to you. So I then called you and you hung up on me. This was also a shock considering I was saving you over $16,000 in premiums by layering policies.
I sent you a text saying we had an open application that was over a month old and that my team was trying to reach you to schedule an exam and If you did not want the policy just let us know so my team would stop initiating contact.
You then answered back saying you were driving in the rain and that, and I quote,"We also do not respond well when the seller of the policy is overwhelmingly pushy." Again this was the first contact made by my office since 6/8/2018, so to say we are pushy lead me to believe maybe you were confusing us with another agent trying to call you. Again you already applied with us and was a client. So I sent you a timestamped screenshot via your email of the application.
Again, my office reached out to you on 6/6, 6/8 and then 7/17. You then completed the interview and electronic signatures on 6/8, then scheduled the exam for 6/24. So for a month, the examiner reached out to YOU and you never returned a call or called me.
After YOU were rude and accused us of being pushy I canceled the process on the spot and told you we will never do business with you again, and WE WONT!
Then you sent me threatening emails saying you are going to report us, then you give us a 1-star review. Which is fine, I guess you can't make everyone happy.
We handled you with professionalism and explained the process extensively in the beginning. We held up our end of the commitment. There was only one party that was dishonest, rude and threatening.
I have all the records and emails. All correspondence time stamped. I look forward to talking to anyone about this matter. I wish you the best!!
