why Why WHY would they not put the undo button on the task bar for the text box entry???? I have lost HOURS of work because I've tried to copy/paste what I have written, accidentally deleted it, and do not know where the undo button is. AT ALL. So I leave the page or refresh it to check if I can revert to a previous version. Of course, because of my stupidity, its gone. GONE. WHY IS THE UNDO BUTTON HIDDEN??? WHY DOES CTRL Z NOT WORK??? I wanted to recommend that they make the undo button easier to find/see on their website, but I can't submit an IDEA without logging in and "ranking up". I have been using Canvas for ~5 years now. I wasn't going to rant on there like I am here. They have moderators and probably wouldn't let it through anyways. So why do I need to WAIT 3 DAYS TO SUGGEST AN IDEA??? I don't get it. I can't review them or ask for tech help anywhere else but here, because my institution doesn't have those buttons in their help tab. I don't hate Canvas. Everything else is good or usable. But hiding something as important as an undo button on text entry assignments is beyond me. Please, if anyone sees this, fix it. I don't want to rewrite completed assignments anymore. please.

It gets the job done but is surprisingly slow. The email system is very alloying to use as there are no drafts, so if you mis click you lose the whole email. At least it helps to finish your work on time. Edit: I just realized why it's so slow. It you press the book icon on the left tool bar it opens the courses menu. If you press the very top ling named 'All Courses' It shows you ALL of the classes you ever took and you can access all of the assignments you EVER HAD! No wonder its so slow, there are HUNDREDS of links to items you didn't even know about and will never use taking up space!!! If yall get rid of this feature it would probably fix a lot of the lag and make the whole platform faster.

This platform is supposed to make taking your courses online easier, but I found that keeping what is due on a weekly basis more than confusing. Instead of it showing exactly what to do and where to go, you really have to search through the criteria every week to make sure you did everything. Also I was supposed to be able to get a bonus credit for answer a daily question to show participation and it is very difficult to find it.

CANVAS is difficult to configure, slow to update, not user-friendly, and, in my opinion, benefits do not surpass other systems like MOODLE.
