Their promise to refund your money is bogus. It is how they get their numbers up on their year long membership to make their CEO look successful. I wrote to the BBB about their shady practices.

Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to respond and provide some clarity around your experience.
At the conclusion of Day Three, we walk participants through their next steps. Those who would like to move forward with their refund are instructed to email our Customer Success team directly. For those who want to continue the work beyond Genesis, we also provide the option to continue their journey with access to our community. Many of our customers choose to stay engaged with us after Genesis, which is why we provide both paths.
In your case, the misunderstanding appears to be that you believed your refund would be processed automatically without submitting your next step. While your request came in after the event had concluded, we did proceed with and process your refund.
We stand wholeheartedly behind our guarantees. At the end of Day Three, we clearly walk participants through their options and provide instructions for those who would like to request their refund.
For that reason, the statement that Inspirean did not honor the refund guarantee does not accurately reflect what occurred. Your refund was honored and processed.
I’ll be following up with you directly to confirm your refund and ensure everything has been fully resolved.
Warmly,

Before You Spend $29,000 With Keala Kanae, Read My Experience
They are scammers with no honor system.
I decided to make my own assessment of this team despite reading the negative reviews online and the many people calling their programs a scam. I thought, what could go wrong? They advertise a double-your-money guarantee.
I attended their entire three-day event, participated in the exercises, and took detailed notes.
In my experience, the training was subpar. Much of it focuses on feelings but does not lead to tangible or measurable results. They advertise a roadmap and a system, but you receive words of encouragement and feelings.
Most importantly, I saw absolutely nothing during those three days that would justify being upsold into a $29,000 USD program.
I attended in good faith expecting to walk away with something practical and usable.
At the end, they emphasized that participants could request a refund or apply their payment toward another product, including access to a Facebook group and calls throughout the year. Probably another way to keep your money and sell you more useless training about your feelings.
After the training, I contacted their team and requested that they honor their advertised "bulletproof" refund policy.
That is when the conditions became clear.
I was told that to qualify, I needed to attend 100% of the training on camera, pay the program in full, and complete an "action call," where they apparently present another program costing approximately $29,000 USD with a claim that you can triple your money if dissatisfied.
Their team told me I did not qualify because I had chosen monthly payments.
They also pointed out that my camera had been off during portions of the training. Apparently, even briefly turning it off to go to the bathroom, speak with someone, or handle something away from your computer can affect your eligibility.
I offered all my notes as evidence that I attended, followed the material, and completed the exercises. It did not matter.
Instead, I received responses like, "We're sorry you feel this way," followed by another explanation of their policy.
I explained there was no legitimate reason for me to participate in another sales call when I was completely dissatisfied and had no interest in buying anything else.
They still refused to refund the $100 I had paid.
Think about that: a company that promotes its CEO's financial success and enormous revenues, 140 million dollars, would not refund $100 to a dissatisfied customer who attended, participated, took notes, completed the exercises, and asked to leave.
After seeing how unwilling they were to refund even a mere $100, I am incredibly glad I had not already paid the full amount. Their refusal because I was on monthly payments may have saved me from losing significantly more.
What concerns me is someone putting $29,000 USD of their savings into one of these programs, believing a money-back or triple-your-money guarantee means they have nothing to lose, only to discover conditions preventing them from qualifying.
I rarely write negative reviews, especially over $100. The amount isn't the point.
The point is trust.
Even if some people believe the program was worth the money, I would never recommend doing business with a company when I cannot trust its guarantees.
Once that trust is gone, you have no idea which rung of the ladder will be removed from underneath you next or how much money will be involved.
My experience cost $100. Someone else's could cost $29,000 USD or considerably more.
During the program, participants are pushed to leave a review as part of the process. That matters when looking at all those highly positive reviews online. So if leaving a review is part of the process, here is mine.
I ignored the warnings because I wanted to judge the program for myself.
I did.
Never do business with Keala Kanae and his team. Based on my experience, I consider their practices deceptive, their guarantees untrustworthy, and their training incapable of delivering the tangible, measurable system and roadmap I was led to expect.
I paid $100 to learn that lesson.
Hopefully, you do not make the same mistake with $29,000.

Hi JT,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Our team has reached out through Trustpilot to request your information so we can identify your account, review the specifics, and connect with you directly.
We do want to clarify an important point: we stand behind our Genesis Satisfaction Guarantee, and we absolutely honor it.
At the beginning of Genesis, our facilitator touches on the guarantee and establishes the agreements we ask participants to honor, including being fully present and engaged.
We treat Genesis much like an in-person event and ask participants to approach it the same way. The work can be deeply personal and vulnerable, and creating an immersive, safe environment online requires participation from everyone in the room.
During our core exercises, participants are asked to be present and on camera. This isn't simply about monitoring attendance. Each person's presence contributes to the trust, connection, and safety of the group and supports the people doing the work alongside them.
We also want to clarify one point from your review: our team does not document every brief instance when someone steps away or turns off their camera. Camera-off participation is specifically noted during core exercises. If our team notified you that your participation did not qualify for the guarantee due to your camera being off, that would indicate it was documented during one or more of those core exercises, not simply because you briefly stepped away between exercises.
Our guarantee represents a commitment on both sides. We stand behind the experience we provide, and we ask participants seeking to exercise the guarantee to honor the participation agreements as well. For customers who complete the experience in accordance with those agreements and qualify for the Double Your Money Back Guarantee, we honor it and have done so for other qualifying participants.
We also respectfully disagree with the characterization of Inspirean and our team as “scammers.” Hundreds of customers have publicly shared their experiences with our programs, and we encourage anyone considering Genesis to read those experiences, including critical ones, and make their own assessment. Not every program will resonate with every person, and we respect your right to share your experience. We also stand confidently behind the work we do and the guarantees we offer.
We hear your point that this is about more than the $100. Regardless of the guarantee qualification, I'm happy to personally work with you to resolve the $100 refund. Our team has reached out through Trustpilot to identify your account, or you're welcome to contact our Customer Success team and ask for me directly.
We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to provide additional context.

Beware!
Beware! They dont tell you upfront how much time you need to commit. Then when you have already paid, they tell you how much time. When you say I cant commit to that, then they say we will give you a future event when you can do it. Then they dont communicate, or do it properly so you can get into a future event that will suck up three whole days! Then, customer service is rude, policy driven, etc bad, that is if you can get intouch with them. If you dont have three days for a total committment, dont bother!

Hi Anthony, I’ve taken the time to review your customer journey and wanted to provide some additional context around your experience.
From the beginning, the primary challenge appeared to be scheduling compatibility around the Thursday through Saturday Genesis format. Genesis is disclosed prior to purchase as a live, experiential three-day immersive event, and that commitment is also reviewed again throughout the onboarding process, as each day intentionally builds upon the previous one.
After connecting with our team, your seat was placed on hold so we could support you in finding a future class date that better aligned with your availability.
Over the following months, both automated and manual outreach were sent with additional Genesis class options and opportunities to reschedule. We also provided a direct scheduling link to connect with our Customer Experience Manager so we could work with you directly and help find a path forward that worked for you.
Regarding the fulfillment portion you referenced, we do have fulfillment periods around registrations for members who extend long periods of inactivity without registering for and completing their Genesis experience. This only occurs after multiple reschedule opportunities and outreach attempts have been provided over a prolonged period of time.
Even so, our team did extend your Genesis seat outside of that fulfillment period because our intention was still to support you in attending Genesis should you choose to move forward with a future class.
While Genesis has been deeply impactful for many participants, we also recognize that the scheduling and immersive format may not be the right fit for everyone.
That said, your seat is still available, and you are absolutely welcome to attend a future Genesis class should you choose to do so. If you’d like support getting rescheduled into an upcoming event, please feel free to reach out to our team directly. We’d genuinely love to support you in attending a future class.
We appreciate you sharing your experience and wish you the best moving forward.

VERY POOR RUN COMPANY
They deserve a -100 star rating but that's not an option so I had to go with the lowest rating offered. Now, I signed up and paid for Genesis and have had nothing but unsolicited emails and phone calls from them ever since - many of them during the busiest times of the day. They schedule a call but decide to call before it's time and make you talk to them even when you can't. They have forced me to adjust my time to their unrealistic expectations. Then my camera is broken but they are DEMANDING, inappropriately may I add, that I MUST show up with my camera on or else. They even eluded to the fact that I was scared and uncomfortable to be on camera. How condescending can that be? My camera is broken and I can't fix it - I must buy a new computer for it to work. Then they tell me I MUST watch it on my phone or buy an external webcam! Seriously? How ridiculous can they be? Now they offer a double your money back guarantee and I HIGHLY doubt they have any intention of fulfilling on their advertising. Whatever you do, don't have a legitimate problem or they will scorn you and make you fit their mold and not allow any deviation whatsoever. It's not my fault my camera is broken and because I don't fit their EVERY unrealistic expectation I will not be able to attend Genesis. Proceed at your own risk if you are able to deliver perfection to them.

Hello Peggy,
Thank you for your feedback. We understand that participating in Genesis can present challenges, especially with technical issues like camera malfunctions. However, our camera policy is in place to ensure an immersive and interactive experience for all participants.
The camera requirement is integral to the class format, and we’ve worked closely with you to explore possible solutions, including using an external webcam or a phone.
While we understand your frustration with the situation, we believe that being on camera enhances the overall value of the program, which is why this policy is firm. In light of your unique circumstances, we have refunded your registration, as we want you to feel fully supported and confident in your decision to join the class.
If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to our support team directly at [email protected].
We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
