Thought I would have a great experience after looking at reviews and their instagram page and was not pleased with my experience at all the tattoo artist didn’t follow the stencil he laid and my tattoo is patchy and blowing out in places it doesn’t look remotely like the inspiration genuinely so disappointed and upset.
Response from Ink Spa Tattoo & PiercingJan 16, 2026
Hi Cienna, we’re really sorry to hear how disappointed you’re feeling. This isn’t the experience or quality we, at Ink Spa, or your artist, Mason, intend for our clients. Your tattoo is still very fresh, under a week old, so some patchiness or unevenness can be part of the normal healing process. We completely understand how concerning it can look right now. Once it’s fully healed, we’d love the chance to do a follow-up session and address any areas that need attention. We’ll be reaching out to you directly to check in. Thank you for sharing your experience. We truly appreciate the opportunity to make things right.

I did a cover-up tattoo with Gage and my experience was awesome! Gage is really talented and the tattoo looks great - the old tattoo was 100% incorporated into the design and is not noticeable at all. I had a long appointment (5hrs), and time flew by. It was really easy and fun to talk to him, and I had a lot of fun the whole time.

Thank you so much for this review! We're glad to hear your cover-up session with Gage went well. He puts a lot of heart into making sure everything blends cleanly, so it’s awesome to hear the old tattoo disappeared right into the design. Five hours is a long sit, and we’re happy it felt fun and easy-ish the whole way through. Thanks again for coming in! We appreciate you and hope to see you back whenever you're ready for more ink!
