I worked with InkNest Publishing on a recent project and had a mixed experience. While I do appreciate the quality of the editing and the illustrations provided, the overall process was challenging. Communication was often unclear and difficult, which led to delays and confusion. Additionally, I found myself needing to correct multiple mistakes that should have been handled by the publishing team, adding extra time and stress to the process. I also paid for the Global Plan with the understanding that it provided expanded international distribution. However, I later learned that IngramSpark already distributes books globally by default, which made me feel that I overpaid for a service that did not offer clear added value. There is clear potential in the creative aspects of InkNest Publishing, but improvements in communication, transparency, and overall project management would greatly enhance the author experience. At this time, my experience was below expectations.
