Do Not Recommend
My honest review of Inito after using it myself and hearing the same frustrations from several friends: I would not recommend it. I originally liked the idea of Inito because it gives you more hormone data than a traditional ovulation test. But after actually using it, and comparing experiences with several friends, I don’t feel like the information was reliable enough to justify the cost. We have had multiple instances where the results simply didn’t match what was actually happening. One friend was pregnant, and Inito showed that her progesterone had dropped. It hadn’t. She was, in fact, pregnant. That was a pretty significant red flag for us. I’ve also personally had several test strips that wouldn’t read or didn’t work properly. When each strip is expensive, having a strip fail means you’ve essentially thrown that money away. And because the strips expire, you can’t necessarily just save them for later. If they expire during a period when you aren’t testing and then you become pregnant or otherwise don’t need them anymore, you’re still out the money you paid for them. Another issue for me is that the hormones being measured naturally fluctuate and pulse throughout the cycle, so I found myself spending a lot of time trying to interpret numbers that didn’t necessarily tell me what was actually happening. Instead of giving me more confidence, it often created more questions and concern that wasn’t even necessary. At the end of the day, I felt like I was spending a lot of money for information that wasn’t consistently actionable or accurate for me. In my experience, it ended up feeling like an expensive ovulation tracker rather than something that gave me substantially better insight. There are other ways to track ovulation and understand your cycle without spending that much money on strips that can expire, fail to read, or leave you questioning what the numbers actually mean. For me, Inito was not worth the money. I would not purchase it again.
