Maya saw the potential in my project, Pads. Now, a student non profit aimed at helping to raise awareness about menstrual issues. We started as a few close friends wanting to do something meaningful, with one girl in particular getting the idea from an accident of being awkwardly asked for a pad by someone in emergency. I wrote about this story in the funding application to the Leadership & Innovation Lab, where under Maya’s guidance, gave us a generous check to grow our community eventually to multiple countries and thousands of participants.

Cocola was the Project Manager and Coordinator supporting my daughter throughout her college application journey. Over the four-year process, Cocola did a fantastic job making everything as smooth and transparent as possible. She ensured that for every program InGenius provided—such as the research program, SAT seminars, and more—she gave us all the necessary information in a timely manner, so we were always well-prepared and never missed an opportunity. What impressed us most was her professionalism in coordinating the needs of both the counselor and the parents. I recall that when my daughter was working her personal statement, I had a disagreement with the counselor's feedback. Cocola didn't simply take sides. Instead, she shared both perspectives, offered her own insights based on past applicants' experiences, and even brought in an independent reviewer to help evaluate the different approaches. We eventually reached a consensus, and my kid delivered an outstanding personal statement that played a key role in her acceptance to her dream school! Overall, we are extremely satisfied with Cocola's support throughout the college application process. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking college application counseling services.

I had the privilege of taking the LIL Intensive 1v1 course with Maya Gobert (the Director of Leadership Innovation Labs) and the experience really proved invaluable to the development of my project! With her thoughtful planning, consistent guidance, and careful supervision, I was able to make progress way more efficiently and complete my project much sooner than I had originally expected. She also helped me combine the various components of my work into a clear, cohesive, and well-structured project framework. Her insightful suggestions allowed me to turn my ideas into a finished piece with more clarity, direction, and confidence than I had before. Beyond the completion of my project, she also continued to support my growth by introducing me to many opportunities through which I could develop my skills further and pursue new possibilities. Her dedication, expertise, and genuine commitment to her students made the entire experience exceptionally rewarding for me!

Very responsible counselors. The student guidance team is very well structured. The team is experienced.

Ms. Gobert was a great support! She helped me figure out my interests and how they could be connected uniquely and guided me throughout my whole project. She was so supportive and a well of knowledge that gave me good direction. I highly recommend using her services!

Very productive and professional!

An amazing, supportive, and professional counseling team that always checks up on me and provides the most thoughtful plans.

Working with InGenius Prep over the past four years has been an absolute game-changer for my college journey. My primary counselor, Cici Lin, has been the rock I could always count on—incredibly responsible, responsive, and genuinely invested in my growth from day one. She guided me through every course selection, essay draft, and interview prep with thoughtful, honest feedback, and her steady presence made an overwhelming process feel manageable and even enjoyable. I never once felt lost or unsupported, and I owe so much of my confidence throughout these years to her dedication. Beyond academics, I was lucky to work with Maya from the Leadership & Innovation Lab. As my mentor, she helped me brainstorm creative project ideas and then guided me step-by-step to turn those concepts into a fully functioning website. Maya pushed me to think bigger and problem-solve independently, and her hands-on mentorship gave me a tangible accomplishment I'm genuinely proud of. Together, Cici and Maya gave me the perfect balance of strategic planning and creative execution. I couldn't have asked for a better team, and I highly recommend InGenius Prep to any student looking for counselors who truly care.
