IGP is exactly what they claim they are: “The smart way to get in.” There's a common misconception today that stacking a list full of awards and activities is the only way to make it, but that's simply not true. Think about it for a second: If you do the same “good for you” activities, win the same “good” awards, and creates the same “key clubs,” you'll just end up with an application that looks the exact same to thousands of others. IGP knows this, and it knows that this is not the only way. In fact, there's a much smarter way to get in: simply demonstrate that you are unique. IGP manages to find ordinary things and turn them into compelling narratives. These narratives serve as key differentiators that take your applications to the next level.

The regular meetings helped me stay on top of deadlines, and motivated me to get materials in. The suggestions on helping me build my application persona were invaluable. The writing workshop was also extremely helpful in helping me brainstorm ideas for the personal statement. I felt that I had a clear direction of what I was going to write after attending those. With the support of my InGenius team, I was able to create a cohesive and authentic application. Thank you, InGenius!

The arduous college application process was something I thought my daughter was equipped to do with the help of her school college counselor and myself. IGP was worth the investment...as their team worked so well with my daughter in building a strong application persona, providing a breadth of guidance and feedback, and being an objective guide as she navigated through the app process. We are happy to say that she was accepted to her Early Decision school which is the school that the student is committed to go to if accepted. And IGP's team helped in that success!

My nephew started working with InGenius this year. He is very busy and InGenius helped him keep track of all the deadlines. Really appreciate his team of counselors for being patient with him, guiding him through his common app essays, and helping him keep track of his assignments. What I appreciated the most was that his counselors took the time to get to know him, and identified all the things that we didn’t really consider as “extracurriculars”. We went from only having 3 things on his resume, to filling out all the spots in the common app activities section. My only regret is not signing him up earlier, because we made so many improvements in the last few months and already got accepted to one school - we can only imagine how far he would have gone with a consistent year+ with InGenius… Thank you Krista and team for your hard work!

The company was a fine resource to keep me on track during the very busy college application season. Kevin Covarrubias, specifically, not only helped me stay on track for the overwhelming amount of essays I had to write but also supported me at every step of the application process. There were some problems when I first started working with the company when they sometimes did not meet my expectations. However, thanks to Kevin, Rich, and the rest of my team, many of the issues were resolved. They helped me get into a good school in the end.
