InGenius PrepReviews of ingeniusprep.com

I have had a wonderful experience working with Ingenius since joining last year. The entire team is highly organized, professional, and supportive. The counselors are extremely experienced and provided valuable guidance to help students build strong resumes and prepare for college applications. I am very happy with the counselor who is very understanding of the students' needs. The FAO team was equally impressive, recommending summer camps that matched the student’s profile and providing strategic, high-level advice throughout the application process. The LLP project mentor Ms. Maya has been especially outstanding. I am very lucky to work with her, who brings exceptional leadership, innovative project ideas, and extensive connections across diverse disciplines and regions. With her guidance and support, I was able to develop and complete an impactful leadership project that combined my background and my interest. She also encouraged me to transform this work into a research paper, which has been published. The progress manager worked tirelessly to keep students on track with their assignments and deadlines. She helped secure spots in limited-capacity workshops, communicated effectively with students to ensure projects were completed, and always listened patiently to both students and parents while offering prompt and practical solutions. In addition, Ingenius provides tremendous overall support through regular seminars and workshops that help both students and parents better understand the college application process and the key factors considered during admissions. Overall, we are extremely grateful for the dedication, expertise, and encouragement provided by the Ingenius team.

The experience is immensely helpful. They help you with all parts of the process and genuinely ensure that you can do well.

My Overall experience with InGenius is great! I get in contact with them and began our coorparation in before my junoir year. InGenius mostly help with planning in my senior year, like how to create my profile, what class to choose, how to carry forward my activities. I would say I felt safe that someone is helping me to contol my pace, and having somewhere to ask for and reference on while I met difficulties. I joined two of the candidacy building camps where I learned a lot, not just on how to do application but personal lifelong growth. One is book-reading and writing, and one is about political philosophy, the teachers are all really nice. I also very much like the process of gradually developing the PS. Our team started to design it pretty early and InGenius also has online camps in the summer to help us optimizing the eassy narratives with 1v1 instruction. The teachers are conscientious too. My GC did her utmost to help me, we actively revise my essays and meet every week in application season. She also did respect my opinoins. My progress manager also helped me a lot especially in choosing schools, listing down information in google charts to help with my decision. I recommend InGenius for application!

We had a great experience with InGenius throughout my son’s college application process. The team( Crystal W, Ming, Emily C and Emily P) were knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping students succeed. They provided personalized guidance on every aspect of the application, from school selection and extracurricular activities to essay editing and interview preparation. What stood out most was their responsiveness and attention to detail. The team helped reduce the stress of the application process and made everything feel more organized and manageable. I have no doubt that, without their help, the entire process would have been much more difficult and overwhelming. Their efforts were much appreciated!

highly professional and systematic mentor who has patiently and attentively guided my daughter for over two years, helping her grow step by step and ultimately achieve the results we hoped for together.

I appreciate so much that Emily, Aislinn, Susan and my previous GC Liz really helped me a lot during my application, since it was a bit chaotic and I needed to get a lot of things done in a very short amount of time, and especially there was some unexpected situation happened and I was really anxious, but they worked in shifts and spent a lot of time and energy on my materials and essays, which I appreciate a lot. And at the same time, great thanks to Liz and Aislinn, they were very responsible toward every students, and spend a lot of time and attention on editing and fixing my materials, and guiding me to work through common app, comfort me and telling me that everything will be alright.

InGenius Prep was a great experience and really helped me feel more prepared for the college application process. The guidance I received was structured, thoughtful, and tailored to my goals, which made a big difference. The mentors were knowledgeable and provided clear direction on everything from building my profile to refining my application strategy. What stood out most was how the program helped me think long-term and position myself in a way that sets me up well for college and beyond. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for strong, personalized support through the admissions process.

When we first spoke with InGenius three years ago, my son had been out of school for more than six months and had only just resumed through online courses. At the time, he was not sure he wanted to go to college, and we were uncertain whether he would be accepted anywhere. Three years later, he has received an offer from a top-10 CS program in the United States. We could not be more grateful to my son’s mentors at InGenius for the transformational changes they helped him make at his young age, and for the support they gave our family during this difficult time. THANK YOU!
