This chair is overall pretty good but not exceptional. The 3 things I find unsatisfactory and 1 thing that could improve are as follows: 1. There is no hamstring/buttock massage. If I had been thinking clearly I would never have purchased this chair if I had noticed. I work out a lot and the hamstring/buttock massage absence is a huge let down 2. The foot rollers are way to rough, even with the pads in. The rollers should have been made with a softer material then hard plastic. You can adjust the speed of the rollers or turn them off but that will also turn off rollers in other parts of the chair. And If you turn the rollers off there is no foot massage. So this is very disappointing because my job I am on my feet all day and a foot massage is my favorite. 3. The pillow has neck airbags but they aren’t strong enough. I have considered due to my size though. I am very petite and I haven’t asked anyone else who has sat in the chair how the neck airbags feels. And lastly, the need for improvement would be if the airbags could be inflated longer as an option. I love the airbags. They feel great but they inflate and deflate too quickly. You can adjust their intensity but not their inflate time. So that’s my review. I love having the chair but in retrospect I would not have spent this much money on something that isn’t perfect.

Infinity IT-8500 X3 Massage Chair Rocks! The Extension/Stretch feature is the best and really does a great job stretching you out. The airbags around the legs and arms are tunable for pressure and the feet rollers are nice. Sound is OK and you can play music/NetFlix from your phone/Ipad. The Shiatsu and Sync automated modes are also very nice. Zero G and 3D massage automated modes are also therapeutic and relaxing. The only negative thus far is the "white glove" delivery service company (LILE) they contracted seemed ill prepared to bring the heavy chair up the stairs. One guy had hurt his back a week or so ago and was limited. They had a trolley that could go up the stairs on battery power. The battery ran out of power with only 3 steps to go. Luckily the could just tilt the box up and shove it over. They didn't even have furniture pads to protect the floors. (luckily I supplied them with a couple) Then they proceeded to try to install the chair. To my surprise they started doing it without the manual and were missing key points to install it correctly. I showed them the manual and pointed out to them how to do it correctly. I think they could have hired a better company for the white glove install for the $325 delivery/set up fee which took 90 minutes (Paper work said it would take 45min)

This rating has nothing to do with chair itself, only the delivery. Guy shows up to assemble chair at 8 AM as promised. Problem was chair had not been delivered. So he tracks down chair and says he’ll get his pickup and be back. At 11AM he shows up with chair. One piece weighs 200 lbs. Wants to know if he can slide it on floor. NO. Lucky I had someone here working that helped him carry it in. Seems like bad business in case someone gets hurt lifting what he says normally 3 guys deliver. I’m so hoping this is no indication of how this chair will preform. Sales department should offer partial discount for so called WHITE GLOVE delivery. From here he leaves to deliver my neighbors chair. She’s alone and I’m pretty confident this isn’t something this guy can carry in alone. Total. BS. UPDATE. Just received a call from an Infinity manager and she assured me that the delivery company is an independent contractor. Gave her sincere apologies as to delivery fiasco and is working to make this right. Hopefully this will end on a good note. This is now my 2nd update. Infinity manager called today to inform me they would be refunding the delivery fee. This all happened in a matter of a couple of days so I thank her for her quick response. Accordingly I’ve given them four stars. Now hopefully this chair will preform as well as their management team. Thanks Infinity.

The assembly instructions are confusing. The assembly is simple but, the instructions are not clear. After hours support for assembly would be helpful. Not a big deal, it all worked out.

My new infinity chair is going to change my life. I'd give it 5 stars but like many things, I find the instruction book "lacking" on how to navigate settings and menus and store personalized massages. Fortunately there are some youtube videos but I'm busy and I don't want to have to work that hard.....

I felt that the lady helping me try the chair was very honest and answered my questions very well! The gentleman who was working with her was also honest in answering my questions concerning warranty and durability as well as the features of the chair.

I got the Infinity Genesis chair. Its' a nice chair. I have only a couple issues: 1. The assembly instruction manual is confusing, because a few of the steps and photos are out of order. If you would only take a look, you would see that it doesn't make sense as printed. 2. During automatic massages, the leg extension button works as long as I am pushing the remote control button, but when I release it, the footrests rise back up to some default position, pushing my legs up off the chair. I can stop it by pushing down with my feet. But as soon as I relax them, the footrests go back up again. 3. The remote control will not allow me to change the intensity settings sometimes. The remote either will not respond to scrolling to another intensity setting, or it changes by itself. I will call tech support about the last two issues.

Sales representation (Jim DeLucas) was fantastic--five stars PLUS! Costco performed in their normal superlative way. Shipping was so quick we were not notified of impending delivery until the chair was out for delivery. Unfortunately we were out of town and actually learned of the attempted delivery by following the link Infinity provided to track shipping. Rescheduling with OHFL was fine--at least through their online rep (Amber Dyche) . . . the OHFL Bremerton terminal had their own ideas of what to do based upon an early exchange. What they did not do is communicate--with their own rep or with us. We finally established a direct exchange with the driver himself (Brock) to discover that the information exchanged with Amber had not been attended to (or perhaps ignored) by Bremerton (Brett Snover). Brett, after Amber's 26 September/0917 plea to him to please communicate with us, informed us in a 1653 e-mail what his schedule was. Interestingly, had OHFL talked to each other they could have saved an extra trip to our area as a delivery was made the day before to a neighbor. Assembly of the chair was reasonably straight-forward . . . as long as one used the assembly instructions as general clues. The photographs may be perfectly illustrative to someone familiar with the chair, but absent such understanding it was hard to appreciate what was being depicted in the (I'm sorry to say) poor quality photographs. One example was the shot showing how to access connecting of the pneumatic tubing to the arms. The best "clue" was the IEC-45 power receptacle in the base to appreciate the orientation of the photo and the area of access. Perhaps an overview "thumbnail" in the corner of the photos to show where to look would help. Better lighting to produce good contrast (and saturation) during the photographic session would also help. With the chair in the position as shipped attaching the arms before attaching the pneumatic hoses to the arms was a fool's errand . . . reaching the air hoses, reading the numbers, etc., was a bit beyond difficult. The solution was to remove the arms, make the pneumatic connections, then attach the arms. Operation is as expected. However, the controls effected through the menu are not yet appreciated (read that as understood). We are working our way through what is the "logic tree" of the menu options. The quick start guide is pretty good, but in my mind it is only a good set of "clues" for someone already familiar with the chair's controls. An example is the sequence needed to change the pre-set (automatic) intensity of the rollers. Again, the documentation could be improved if written considering someone unfamiliar with the chair. Said another way, we expect there to be a paradigm associated with the logic of the menu--just as with the menu options in the ribbon of most PC applications--but, having to develop the paradigm through "poke and hope" is not the best experience for us.
