Industrial ScriptsReviews of industrialscripts.com

This course offers a great, if intensive, insight into the industry, useful for budding Script Readers and aspiring Script Writers alike. There was a lot of information packed into one day but the tutor was approachable and happy to answer questions, both during and immediately after the session. I particularly liked the advice on how and where to find Script Reading jobs. As someone keen to find out the requirements behind building a career in development, I found it equally inspiring and intimidating. Homework to self: watch even more TV and films!

A great introduction into the art of Script Reading! The course clearly outlines each stage of Script Reading for both TV and Film which was only strengthened by our teacher's knowledge. Established as both a Reader and Writer, he could efficiently answer all questions from a diverse group. The course materials give you a detailed breakdown of everything we went through for ease of reference. I would definitely recommend the course to my colleagues!

This course was a fantastic introduction to script reading. The instructor was engaging and very informative. I would recommend to anyone looking to get into script development.

Really great course, can fully recommend! lots to take in on one day but so much insight into the industry from someone with years of experience and advice. The best start and a great way to network with others in the industry.

Lots of information, presented in a lively, engaging way. The tutor was great, and I liked how he interspersed the content with clips from film and television. The section on the realities of the industry was really useful. The course focused more on film than television, but all in all a good springboard for aspiring script readers.

An extremely useful and worthwhile course for anyone hoping to get into the Script Development industry. The group setting allowed for interaction and prevented a long day feel too overbearing. Certainly worth the money. Only negative comment I would have is that there is too much information than can be realistically conveyed in a one day course. That being said I feel much more prepared for trying to get into the industry than I did before.

A fairly full-on day. To the point. A great primer to the business of Script Reading, taught by a very pleasant, enthusiastic, industry-insider. More material than can be covered in a single session, it's definitely worth going through the course notes again, in detail, whilst working through the following week's hand-in / assignment. Great opportunity to meet a handful of other Readers / Writers, too.

The course provided a thorough grounding in all aspects of being a script reader. I approached it as a writer looking to better understand the reader's role so as to improve my own work: this objective was fully met. Making you think about the commercial appeal of material is a particularly good aspect of the course. The instructor is an experienced writer and reader and thoroughly knew his stuff. As with all Industrial Scripts services, I recommend this course.
