As a professional tax service, one aspect our ongoing customers appreciate from year to year is that we proactively follow up early in the tax year to coordinate their upcoming tax project. We do our best to get a plan coordinated with customers during the first weeks and months of the year for their upcoming tax project. If there is a history of non-responsiveness to our inquiries and follow-ups, however, it becomes difficult to service an account and to file by the deadline. Well before any applicable deadline and in cases of non-responsiveness, we must sometimes make the difficult decision to suggest the client make alternative arrangements for completing their tax return.
