A sales call disguised as a podcast. Wasted my time, never published.
Patrick found me by cold outreach on June 2 and invited me onto his RevTalks podcast. He never appeared. Someone else from his team ran the call. During the recording the questions moved in one direction: toward gaps in my marketing and my pipeline. Not "what have you learned", more "here is where you are weak". By the end it was clear where it was going, and I was offered a follow-up call about their services. I declined. The review was asked for on the call itself, before anything was delivered. That is the part people should understand. You are on camera, the episode has not been published, you still need this to go well, and you are asked to review them right then. Refuse, and the goodwill in the conversation is gone. So you write something positive about a recording, not about a result. That is what my first review was. Then the interest disappeared. The episode was never published. On August 5 I asked for a publication date. No reply. Count what this cost me: preparing, the recording slot, and follow-up emails chasing an answer that never came - spread over more than two months, for nothing. I came in as a podcast guest. What I got was a diagnostic call for a sales pitch. When I refused the pitch, the episode stopped mattering to them. Look at the other reviews on this page and when they were written. Then ask how many of those episodes exist.
