This website is genuinely the worst disgrace ever bestowed upon American education. Schools say its to enhance your learning and make you do 2 every week when I genuinely cannot even pass ONE. I have 6 lessons due this week. My grade is severely tanking and I am starting to lose my hair and scratch my skin because of the stress this site has put onto me and my class. The school system seriously needs to start investing in better teachers, better supplies, better learning and a new system instead of relying on "edtech" that has the warmth of a busted heater. This has caused my stress to spike since my school introduced it.

I would LOVE to give Imagine Learning…
I would LOVE to give Imagine Learning Virtual Academy ZERO STARS. As of today, I’m learning I was denied at least a 4 class refund since my daughter just needs to take two classes to graduate, and I paid the year in advance. How does stealing money from my daughter benefit her in the long run? How are they actually using the money that my daughter paid from her education fund she received after her dad died? On top of that, I paid for her graduation things, which was $110. The only reason we chose IL was due to them having an animation class…that she never took bc they didn’t have proper instructors for the class. She took everything else that means nothing to her, and now dealing with sending an appeal to have some sort of refund for the classes she doesn’t need to take. My daughter deals with heavy anxiety, and learning disabilities that by taking more classes will increase those anxieties. Such a terrible organization! I should have checked the reviews first before choosing them to help with my daughter education.

A pathetic excuse of "learning", and why schools are failing. From a student.
I don't want to waste any time, my anger for this site runs way too low to fluff this up. First, the soul-draining videos. These show that the website does not care about the students being engaged, as Imagine Learning consistently forces students to watch videos which you cannot skip, ranging from 20 seconds long, to an hour. As a kid with ADHD yet still being a kid who is inherently passionate about school, I can stomach slightly boring topics, but I crave some sort of spice when it comes to teaching. However, these videos take that away, making you watch a seriously long video or a series of pretty long videos. The videos aren't interesting, either, as the videos are just some random people reading off slides and fluffing up the videos with needless information, people who are just as uninterested in the topic as I am. Next, the assignments and quizzes. I'll give the website something: they didn't screw up one of the most basic parts of education, which is multiple choice. It's no compliment, but it's hard for me to admit Imagine Learning does something good due to how bad it was. I'll skip over projects, but all you need to know from me is that they weren't bad due to the site, but because I genuinely get so emotionally drained from everything before projects that when a project comes, I genuinely want to cry. However, I have yet to talk about my least favorite part of Imagine Learning, and why this site proves schools are failing us as children: the writing. It's not the writing itself I hate, but similarly to multiple choice, it's hard to fail giving a question and expected a paragraph response. The problem is how the responses are graded, as they are not graded by a teacher. Instead, these responses are graded by using keywords... THIS IS HORRIBLE. FORGET ALL THE PROFESSIONALISM I HAVE BEEN TRYING SO HARD TO SHOW. With keywords, children can get 0s... ZEROES... no matter HOW MUCH THEY WROTE. I write 100+ word responses to most of the questions, and GUESS WHAT? "0". This proves schools are failing because it shows schools officially don't care about how their students are truly doing. They don't want real people to grade their work, but they'd rather implement systems like keywords to grade assignments, so students can write a whole load of garbage and as long as the keywords are in the response, "100". I have always been so passionate about school, so tell me why that through thick and thin, this website is the straw that breaks the camel's back, something SO BAD that I feel morally obligated to complain on a website. If my school sees this and knows who I am, they may not like me for it, but clearly my school doesn't care about me anyway if they want me to use this site.

Imagine Learning shouldn’t exist, here’s why.
If you like this, you are a psychopath. No one learns anything from this. It’s called “ Imagine Learning” but it should be called “Imagine Learning a Thing On This.” The “fun” characters don’t help either. It’s not like I’m Einstein if I read one book. This app is just depressing.

Customer Support = Blaming The School
I work for a school that uses Ignitia Christian. As teacher we are always reporting typos, that questions are listed over lessons not covered yet, missing alternative tests, etc. But the response from the customer support is shocking. You will either get the following 1) No we don't see that on our end. 2) We can work on it during the summer. 3) Make a new copy of the class and see if it still persists. (No one can unenrolled students in the middle of the year we would lose their work.) 4) You deleted it or you caused it.
I have never seen a company that will blame the customer for their mistakes. Most companies would try to help, it is very strange the way customer support is so lacking. I have lots of attachment proof if needed. I am even making a typo spreadsheet at this point.
