I wrote a review a few years ago but I want to write another one because I've been thinking of all of the amazing things that Dolly did over the course of my lifetime. My three granddaughters, who are all two years apart, receive(d) books. They have built an impressive library, especially my youngest grandchild who inherited her sister's books as well as getting her own. The books are very nice paperbacks that are perfect for young children. When my girls are finished with them, I will donate them to other children through a program at the oldest granddaughter's grammar school so that Dolly's gift can keep giving ❤️

My most cherished memories are checking the mailbox once a month and being able to read a new book with my child. This program gives priceless moments between a mother and child. Thank you Dolly!

This is such a great idea! To provide a monthly book to kids from birth until 5 years old is amazing. I loved the variety of books, and regular receipt. As my granddaughter loves books, these provided a great way to build her own library. I have told every new parent about this and encouraged them to sign up. Many thanks to Dolly for creating - and FUNDING - this endeavor.

Absolutely amazing. We may have not gotten a FREE book every single month but even if we only got one book I'd still be happy as this is completely free and not at all costing anyone a penny. Entitlement is absolutely insane nowadays. This program should be at 5 stars

This is an amazing thing. It takes a while for your first book, but this is FREE and the the girls LOVE their monthly book.

So, kids have brains, right? And they start out real small and unimpressive. I know people say, “Your baby is learning so much!” but they really don’t know anything. You know what helps them know things, though? Books. Not even highly informative books like $2.00 a Day: Living on Almost Nothing in America, but books that read like an alien pretending to be human: “This is an egg. The egg is white. Yolk is yellow.” Kids love it! And Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides each registered child with an age-appropriate book per month until the child turns five. It’s free! Even better: The books aren’t about egg colors. They’re paperback, educational, colorful, and full of Dolly’s love.
