They’ve canceled orders for out of stock when they clearly still have the bag in stock, they’ve lied about shipping location and method.

Awful! Purse came fast so one star. But I never got a confirmation email on the order. I started the return process giving them the order number from the packing slip but website said they have no record of my order! Chat kept responding "I don't understand" so that was useless. THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY!!!!!!

Ilovedooney IS A SCAM 1000%. They took 6 wks, that's 6 WEEKS!!! TO CANCEL, an order that was paid for 2 day shipping. NOTHING EVER ARRIVED, AND ANY EMAILS & CALLS TO THEIR COMPANY WERE EITHER NO RESPONSE, OR WAITING 45 MIN FOR VARIOUS TRANSFERS BEFORE THE IMBECILES THAT WORK THERE HUNG UP. no retail business has pulled that garbage - btw, they have not REFUNDED THE OVER $700 ORDER, FOR NOT, REPEAT, NOT SHIPPING & CANCELLING WITHOUT EVEN SO AD TO NOTIFY THE CUSTOMER BY EMAIL NOR PHONE. a bunch of shady scammers whatever fraudsters are hiding behind the site, there's been nothing but horrible reviews by consumers and endless complaints on BBB. They forced to now have to contact bank for their blatant fraud scam.....the garbage they sell are apparently stolen used merchandise according to various reviews by other consumers?!!!!! Deal w them if you want to be defrauded, robbed, and in best case, get USED trash bags others, potentially harboring infections, parasites & diseases have dumped their / ppl they deal with - bodily germs, disgusting unsanitary, soiled, god knows what bodily fluids contaminated diseases that are all gifted to you, free of charge, via their stuff, gross makeup, kids/ pets' vomit & feces thrown daily in USED purses!!!!!!!! Do you acknowledge how unclean, gross, nasty filthy humans are???!! Does it get dirtier / nastier - even if you tried???!!! Congratulations have fun getting diseases and bodily fluids viruses and parasites out of USED leather and polyester & cotton linings which surely u can dump it in the hot wash cycle w tons of soap & bleach that Saaaaaaaaaaffiano pebble boulders Florentine Gator Croc Ostrich buttocks leather will be better than new?!!!!??

Horrible Customer Service. I placed an ordered and paid for the 5 - 8 business day delivery fee. I emailed to find out where my product is and no response. The following day I called and asked for tracking of my item and they said there was nothing they could do once the delivery company (UPS) had the item. I said I was going out of town and needed to know. So, she hung up on me! Don't buy from this place!!! They are very unprofessional!

I bought a bag from them it never came. They made mistake on address now this was a birthday/ graduation gift that a person picked out. Now it didn’t show up. Call an email , chat with ask if bought the items again would the overnight ship them since was their fault. I was told no. Mind you they shipped me a bag before this to my house without any problems. Update after getting Man you’re on the phone they made it right and sent me a 20% discount.

Just an advisory to anyone buying on ILoveDooney- they do not stand behind their products. I purchased a new style of crossbody, but when I got it it was bigger than I needed. I went to initiate a return and it was not quite as simple as just getting a return label and returning. Once finally returned, they reduced my refund $30 to cover shipping. That is exorbitant and excessive. I love Dooney, but unfortunately for this buyer, I will NEVER shop with them again. Buyer beware…

I would advise everyone not to shop here. They have awful business practices. I recently placed an order online and their website glitched and missed part of my address. I emailed them immediately only to receive a reply the following morning stating that my order could not be modified because it had shipped. I called customer service and was told the same, however the order has not shipped. Only the UPS ship label has been created so they are still in possession and refuse to correct this. One of the customer service reps told me to take it up with UPS. Mind you this is a service I have to pay for in order to fix their issue on top of already paying for shipping because they don’t offer free shipping. I tried with UPS but they can’t help me because…well they don’t have the package yet. I called back and asked for a supervisor and was on hold for a good 15 minutes before I got sent to voicemail. Saying this company is awful is an understatement.

On March 11 of 2025 I went and purchased a Brenna Gretta Handbag of I love dooney.com. My order just kept saying it was processing for over a week with no update so I proceeded to contact them through via chat they told me that the item I had purchased was no longer in stock so I asked them. Why did they take the money out of my account if it wasn’t in stock because when I went to go purchase it, it was showing it was in stock. Therefore I called my bank to try and start a dispute in case they tried to not give me my money back. I talk to a woman named Kate and she told me that she would contact her team or something and get back to me within 48 hours which to me seems very unusual normally they’re just able to cancel an order when you want something canceled so I proceeded to tell her that I was contacted my bank and the fraud Department because I wanted my money back. They should not have proceeded to take any money out of my account if it wasn’t in stock then why was it showing it was in stock if it wasn’t to me the website and all seems like a Scam. After I had told the lady I was going through the fraud department she sent me an email saying I was getting a refund but it was showing it was already processed so when I called to ask about it, she said it takes up to 10 business days so now I am just waiting to see if I am getting my refund because if they try to scan my money, I am going to get it back through my bank. I do not recommend ordering through them simply because they seem very shady and I’ve also read a lot of bad reviews on them and they’ve been turned into the Better Business Bureau a dozen times probably
