Worst service on the internet, I wish I looked to this reviews before i submitted my work with Identifyy.
I started submitting my music on the beginning of january I was waiting to get paid in this July 30th, I didn’t receive a dime.
I was managing multiple artists they asked me multiple times to upload a video soloing the songs and I did, they asked me for contracts and i provided everything even my Distrokid dashboard. They said everything was resolved the day of the payment they sent me an email saying please let the artists send us an email they gathered a random email from the internet and throw it to me, they said the email should be sent from this email.
I would say stay away from Identifyy use any other company other than this trash service. I lost over 6 months of revenue because of this company.

Misleading advertising (hidden $1k threshold for Meta) & refusal to release assets
I signed up for Identifyy specifically for their advertised Facebook/Instagram (Meta) monetization. Their main landing page clearly promises monetization across YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram without mentioning any eligibility restrictions.
Only after submitting my tracks was I informed by support that Meta monetization requires a hidden threshold of $1,000/month in earnings—a condition omitted from their public onboarding materials.
Because the core service I signed up for was denied, I formally requested the release of my assets and account closure. Support refused, claiming a mandatory 3-year term, despite failing to deliver the advertised service. I have since formally revoked all copyright administration rights due to breach of contract, but support has gone completely unresponsive.
Prospective users beware: If you are an independent creator looking for Meta monetization, be aware of hidden earning thresholds and locked assets before uploading your catalog.

Scam artists
Scam artists. They have no idea how Content ID actually works. Predatory scumbags. Living in the 20-years ago music industry.

This is a warning to every independent…
This is a warning to every independent artist and music creator considering using Identifyy.
I had my music with Identifyy for several years. My account was protected with two-factor authentication, and I was the only person who should have had access to it. Despite that, I suddenly lost access to my account. It appears to have been removed or become inaccessible, and I can no longer log in.
What makes this even worse is that all of my earnings have become inaccessible, and despite multiple attempts to contact their support, I have received absolutely no response. No explanation. No assistance. Nothing.
As a customer, I feel completely abandoned. I trusted this company with my music and my royalties, and now I have no access to either my account or my money. Whether this is due to a security failure, an internal error, or something else, I simply don't know—because Identifyy refuses to communicate.
If this can happen to me, it can happen to anyone.
My advice is simple: think very carefully before trusting Identifyy with your music. If something goes wrong, based on my experience, you may be left without answers, without support, and without access to your earnings.
I am still waiting for Identifyy to restore my account, explain what happened, and release the royalties that belong to me. Until that happens, I cannot recommend this company to any artist.

RATS, SCAMMERS
This company is a scam. They blocked my account after I generated approximately 10k, which they never paid me. I sent them documents proving I own the rights to the music, but they never responded or offered a solution.

This company doesn’t seem real
This company doesn’t seem real. After couple of email exchange we concluded that we are better off their services. Also they don’t seem very trustworthy with royalties. There’s a big chance they will not pay your royalties when its due. We are talking about Identifyy the company that offers YouTube content id services.

Banned me for an unknown reason
Banned me for an unknown reason in february and I never received payment which last time I checked was around 600+ usd. Messaged them in the dashboard and emailed them aswell and no response. I don't recommend using this crooked platform

After years as one of Identifyy's largest and earliest clients, I never expected leaving them to be this bad. I was actively recruited, trusted them with my entire catalog, and even recommended them to colleagues. The moment I decided to move to another provider, everything changed.
When I informed them I was leaving, they immediately offered a better revenue split to convince me to stay. I declined. What followed felt like a deliberate attempt to make my departure as difficult as possible.
First, their support gave me the wrong contract end date. I only got the correct one after following up a second time. Worth noting: Identifyy never provides clients with a copy of their contract. They refer you to a general page with no indication of when your specific contract started.
When I requested my YouTube asset IDs, I was told YouTube does not allow sharing them externally. This is false. Providing asset IDs upon offboarding is standard practice across the industry, confirmed in writing by multiple other providers.
Instead of following the standard Content ID transfer procedure, Identifyy simply deactivated all references, making it impossible for my new provider to take ownership normally. I am now forced to manually re-upload thousands of tracks from scratch. Months of work that should have taken days.
My assets were removed the very next day after I notified them I was leaving, breaking the entire transfer process and leaving my catalog unmonetized for weeks. Days later, their representative wrote confirming they would be removed on the originally agreed date. The assets were already gone.
After all this, all my tracks still show as active in the dashboard. When I asked, I was told to check the dashboard. This directly contradicts everything they told me.
They also contacted me after our contract had already ended to offer Meta monetization. Either they had no idea the contract was over, or they were making one last attempt to retain me.
When they needed my business, responses were fast and friendly. The moment I raised legitimate concerns, the tone shifted to short, passive aggressive replies, then complete silence, despite clear deadlines and plenty of time to deal with everything in a professional manner.
I am not alone. There are plenty of reviews online describing the exact same pattern. The contract term is three years. Miss your exit window by even one day and you are locked in for another three. Do not take that risk lightly.
If they are willing to mislead and obstruct during offboarding, ask yourself: can they really be trusted with something as important as your royalties?
Document everything and think very carefully before signing up.
