Ideal auto protect is a scam they need to be held accountable for scamming consumers.They are rude, unprofessional, and never answer the phone. They lie they say they will call and send a check a whole year pass and nothing they are really scam artist. Talked to Ron Ford and Josh what a joke they just say a manager will contact you nobody called why ? Because this is a SCAM!! Whoever works at this company are doing something very illegal just taking money from people. They wont give you a refund no matter what you say. They should not be in business as they are bully scams.I Paid $2100 all at once thinking that I was getting a good warranty I call to make a small claim denied after few months another small claim denied had to pay everything out pocked and this past week my car transmission broke down and there you go they denied the claim after having emails and prove that the transmission was cover as they of course are a joke and scam company how they are still in business no idea! we shouldn’t let this people steal more money I’m putting a claim against them. Please don’t waste your money TERRIBLE company

This company is a total SCAM / RIP OFF This company is a total SCAM / RIP OFF This company is a total scam/ rip off. Steal customers money. Don't Pay claims. Gives customers the run around. Wish I never seen this company online. FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! I purchased an Elite warranty for my vehicle. I never had any issues with my vehicle. Purchased the warranty over a year ago. I took my vehicle in for service cause it started to leak oil. Based on the diagnostics I filed a claim for repairs. After two weeks of back and forth, Ideal said they needed to send out an adjuster. After another week of calling and calling for update he stated that the adjuster stated that the repairs needed are pre-existing; and, was a result of my truck overheating. I told ideal My truck never overheated. NEVER! and I told them someone is lying. I purchased my warranty over a year ago with Ideal and had no trouble with my vehicle until a year later and the adjuster is saying the issues were preexisting. That was a complete lie. This company does not want to pay. They are selling fraudulent warranties. Do not purchase anything from this company. I wish I had come here first before I paid in full for the warranty. The claims representative and/or the claim adjuster are liars. They don't pay claims. They are a complete scam. And, by the way this company keeps protesting my review because they don't want the truth to be told.

Terrible company. They lie to the customer to get them to buy there products. Customer specifically asked if they pay for OEM parts because customer has not had much luck with aftermarket parts and they told him over the phone that indeed they do. Unfortunately the very first claim that the customer submitted this company refused to pay for OEM part ($469) and said that they could supply a OEM part for much cheaper ($175) I told the customer that there is no way that they are sending him a OEM part being $175 when it turned out to be a aftermarket Dorman part and it was even the wrong part to boot. So now the customers vehicle has been on my lift for 8 days and still have to wait for them to send me the “correct part” If anyone is even thinking of buying this warranty RUN AWAY as fast as you can!! Shady company with shady practices! P.S. in response to your response. How did I charge 3x for a part when clearly the list price is $469 for a OEM part not a crappy Dorman aftermarket part that you supplied. Don’t LIE and say that the customers car is repaired and happy! You guys never even sent the CORRECT part after you sent me the WRONG part. Lol. Why not tell the truth that the customer CANCELED his warranty with you guys as your company is SHADY and DECEPTIVE!!! Don’t tell a customer that you pay for OEM parts only to turn around and offer a cheap aftermarket part. I don’t know how you got so many 5 star reviews but I’m SURE they are all from EMPLOYEES and FRIENDS of your company!!! STAY AWAY from this COMPANY you been WARNED!!! Response to their UPDATE: They are lying about the customers car being repaired as the customer was so upset that he told me that he called up and cancelled his warranty with this company!!! How can you trust a company that doesn’t even tell the truth??? This company stated that you can get a full refund in 30 days if not COMPLETELY SATUSFIED. This company refused to give the customer a full refund and only offered a half refund. According to the customer he is currently filing a lawsuit in small claims court. The truth will come out.

Great at selling a plan. Poor at paying for damaged claims they promised to cover during sales process.

They dropped the ball on my repairs and left me stuck with a $875 bill from the dealership by not doing there due diligence prior to initiating any work and not only left me with a bill my vehicles engine was torn down per I deal say . So I received the vehicle back with half the engine in my car , imagine me driving my car there leaving with it in pieces. Per ideal response: So ideal chose to call and offer me $70 to remove my review needless to say I declined and In response you have there reply, Obviously the person responsible for the reply is the person who lacks intelligence because you failed to read or comprehend correctly lol No I’m not a competitor , Clearlake Dodge is ASE certified and I never said I drove my car home it was towed with an extra $200 cost to me thanks to I deal I have all records and proof of doing my part legitimately sounds like ideal wants to pass the buck on this and not honestly take responsibility for there bad business with honest paying costumers .
