I purchased a 2 year service contract for 2 different vehicles. I have had three issues that WERE covered by the "Elite+" agreement. On one project, IdealAuto approved the repair and the mechanic did it. However, IdealAuto NEVER PAID THEM for the service, so I ended up having to pay him for it. Another service on an a/c repair. They sent out "an adjuster" to view the car. He stood OUTSIDE the vehicle with his child by his side, then left and stated the a/c was working fine. He never even opened the door to the car! After two weeks and about 15 phone calls, Ideal WOULD NOT even send someone out to inspect the vehicle again. THIS COMPANY IS A SHAM from New Jersey. You will receive NO SERVICE from them. Instead, you'll get to speak to their "customer service specialist" who sometimes answers the phone.

Absolutely not!!! Josh and his team are total frauds. My husband and I have been dealing with a claim on our Maserati for over 55 days!!!!!! They have now ghosted us and ghosted the service advisor at the dealership we have our Maserati at. When purchasing the aftermarket warranty we were promised good customer service, genuine Maserati parts and so much more in our WRITTEN contract. When it came time to make a claim to fix a part that was so clearly listed in our WRITTEN CONTRACT they pulled every line in the book to not have to fork over the money. After settling for part of the job, it took them weeks to send a part to our dealer. After being promised over and over by JOSH that it would be a genuine part, the part came in was in fact NOT a genuine Maserati part and Josh told us to “deal with it”. After that they failed to give proper authorization for the repair. Josh and his team have ignored countless calls, voicemails and emails. When we do get ahold of someone we are met with condescending attitudes. Do not waste your time or money with this company. They are all frauds and will leave you in the dust when you need them.

First let me say that all the 5 star reviews are fake! I would give Zero stars if it would allow me. This company is a total scam! We bought the warranty for my daughters car. We filed a claim through Joshua Walker and he approved the repairs which were done by a local shop. For a while Joshua would tell me at least once a week that the bill would be paid by end of week, and that day would come and go with no payment. I would get Joshua on the phone the next week and the same promise would be made, and the same result … no payment. I have the shop calling me telling me I have to pay the bill almost on a daily basis. Now Joshua doesn’t answer my calls and doesn’t return any of my calls when I leave him voice mails. I honestly don’t think anyone else works for this “company”. IT IS A SCAM! Do not get a warranty through this company! I’ve filed a complaint through the BBB. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. I’ve read many reviews similar to mine. Unfortunately I didn’t see these reviews before I purchased.

DO NOT purchase any extended service agreement with Ideal Auto Protect. This company failed to send me any refund after contract cancellation was signed for 8 MONTHS! Long story short, I purchased a Elite+ plan for $3000 on 11/11/2021 and had my plan canceled on Feb 17, 2022. The company promised to send me $2119 within 20 business days as a refund for canceling my policy in the cancellation contract. For the next 8 month, they have never sent me any checks for the refund. Until now, I’ve written tons of emails and given them phone calls almost every week to ask for my refund. They claimed they will deliver my message to the billing department, they claimed they will issue and send the check. But I NEVER received any check that they promised to send me. I asked them to send me a tracking number if they ever send me a check, still no response on that. Account Number: 5236185115-C

HORRIBLE!!! I can not even begin to tell you all the issues i have had with this joke of a company... They promise you the world, but do not deliver. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!

Don't fall for these scammers. I'm a living proof of that. This company or whatever they call it is a pyramid scheme. They'll take your money then leave you hanging when you need them the most. Joshua is one of them. TrustPilot be transparent and shut this company down before they scam more poor people unless you guys working with them. 😀 Trust pilot contact me and I'll provide all the documents, conversations and proof of evidence.

My first claim experience with Ideal Auto Protect was in January 2021 which went very smoothly and they covered what was in their contract to cover, and the service provider was paid in a very timely manner. My second claim experience with Ideal Auto protect was in September of 2021 and it has been a fiasco from the start and it has not finished. It took almost a month for the repair shop to receive approval to complete the service which which Ideal would pay just over $900 dollars for the parts and labors they would cover by the contract. Services were completed early October 2021. The repair shop was not able to receive payment and was told at least once that the check was in the mail. I was asked to pay the bill in February 2022. I have emailed and called 4 or 5 times a month and have talked with Josh several time's and I have been told a minimum of 2 times that the check is in the mail. I have still not received a check for any amount from Ideal Auto. I keep asking when I will be paid for the approved claim and Josh has responded 2 times that he will "look into it and get back to me on this." and has never responded. So here I am almost a year later writing a one star review. UPDATE 8/30/22: Now I am not able to speak to anyone and Josh has not responded to emails consistently and if he does respond they a short one or two word answers with out stating when I can expect payment. This claim was approved by Josh, no reason why it is not being paid and no payment. "Check is in the mail." Buyer beware!!!

This company is a fraud with a fake Tax ID and business. They are a single employee, posing as an enterprise. I am currently waiting 5+ months for a refund check for my cancelled policy
