Misleading and No Performance verification
We recently used iCrowdNewswire for a digital press release distribution campaign for a client. Our experience raised serious concerns about their service transparency and performance verification. Part of the agreement included banner ad placements on premium websites, but iCrowdNewswire failed to provide any verifiable live links. The screenshots they sent appeared digitally altered, and they repeatedly ignored our requests for access to their Google Ads account. Furthermore, the "coverage report" we received was a monitoring report, not a coverage report of their distribution. It included links from our own media relations efforts and was heavily padded with repeated outlets—one outlet was mentioned 29 times, artificially inflating the results. Given the apparent misrepresentation of brand partnerships and the misleading performance reports, we cannot recommend iCrowdNewswire. We urge other potential clients to be extremely cautious and to require verifiable proof of performance upfront.
