Avoid at All Costs.
This company operates like low-level sharks. They are unprepared, disorganized, and rely entirely on manufacturing a false sense of panic and urgency. Their tactic is simple: make you feel like you're out of options and that if you don’t accept their offer immediately, no one else will lend to you. It’s manipulative and misleading. Their contracts are vague, murky, and riddled with red flags. After a relentless stream of emails and text messages—filled with cringe-worthy language like “thank you brother”—we asked some very reasonable questions. In response, two individuals who appear to be the entire operation, Jay and Elliott, called me directly and launched into an unprofessional tirade, blaming me for “ruining their deal” and “wasting their time.” It was absurd and borderline hostile. I’m writing this in the hope that others will steer clear of these tactics and take the time to compare better, more transparent options. You absolutely will find them.
Response from ICG FUNDINGMay 6, 2025
Thank you for sharing your feedback. While we always appreciate hearing from clients, we believe it’s important to clarify the situation. You reached out to us after securing multiple previous fundings, seeking additional funding. We thoroughly reviewed your file and explained transparently that, given your current obligations, the options were limited. Despite this, we remained responsive and continued working with you as you requested updated offers—each time we provided what was available based on the underwriting parameters. After multiple calls and requests, you informed us you were ready to move forward and asked us to resend the contract. At no point was there an attempt to pressure or mislead you—our goal has always been to offer honest advice, even when the answer may not be what someone wants to hear. We’re sorry to hear you felt otherwise, but we stand by our efforts to be direct, transparent, and respectful throughout the process. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
