Took the manager to small claims court; and as a result there was a court order to pay. The only way to improve is to conduct an ethical business, resolve customer complaints, lowering add-on rates since they get the cars for free, transparency of auction bids, and offering to test drive vehicles.

Awful customer support center. Nobody wants to take a look into my problem. Impossible to find a competent agent to help me. I bought a car and was supposed to pay them with a wire transfer but a banker messed up with my payment and didn’t include some specific information so my money got stuck. It’s been already one month since I got this problem but I haven’t got any help yet. We sent numerous messages to the support center and we got 3 responses with the same message: “your case has been closed” but the problem hasn’t been solved yet. They don’t care about their customers.

i was on hold for over 4 hours over 2 days to get my wire transfer fixed!!! thats nut bag crazy!!!! i under stand i forgot my buyer # on the wire. but to just leave it there till i call is NUTS!!!!! do you have anyone that works there???? what a joke! your chat on line does not work!!! even though thats where your hold music tells you to go. email help does not work at all???? seams like you got my money and dont give a crap what happens after that!

Customer service is horrible. Sit on hold forever and the staff is very unprofessional. Unknowledgeable about account services which is what you think they would be experts on.

Horrible people to deal with. I purchased a vehicle, and found out they deceptively and ignored critical information about the engine type. I have been doing this business for more than a decade. I explained to them that they left the engine type information blank. The manager immediately started getting defensive and rude. He demanded I pay and that he did not care if it was a deceptive sale. I asked that they resell the vehicle so that I can recover some of my funds. Immediately after they received my payment, they ignored my request to resell the vehicle. No accountability would constantly issue threats and always charged fraudulently and sometimes made-up fees. Clearly, IAAI is too big to care about its clients and its image. Hopefully, the government creates a law to allow more competition. Hopefully, they are removed from operations altogether. If possible, avoid IAAI at all costs.

Deceptive description of vehicle. I bought a kia soul at Des Moines Auction on 02/21/2023 (Stock#:35071562) was listed at Des Moines, IA. In the car description IAAI showed that the airbags were intact. However, when the vehicle was delivered to me, the driver's seat airbag and the roof airbag were deployed. That was deceptive and scam to increase bidding. I wouldn’t buy that car with that money if I knew all front seat and roof airbags were deployed. The description said rear collision. IAAI is heading to scam practices. I’m planning to file federal complaint. This is pure definition of scam, put a fake description in order to increase the car value. Very disappointed, I can’t believe IAAI want to do to. This is self destructive path.
