I absolutely love the top concepts HYGURU videos. I found them in my last two weeks of dedicated and they tied things together so well and in a way that stuck. His videos not only teaches the information but adds in test taking strategies. I instantly knew how to approach questions and tie in different topics. I feel like Dr. Damania teaches topics in a way that my brain learns best because he compares and contrasts things that are similar right when he's talking about it. I wish I had found his resources sooner but I am so grateful I found them when I did!

Dr. Rahul's Step 2 review course is a comprehensive and integrative approach to understand Step 2Ck exam. 10/10!!! I first want to thank Jesus and secondly Dr. Rahul!!! I am a Caribbean student. I had tried other resources in passing my schools cbse and was nowhere close to the passing score. I was scoring mid 40s. I had come across Dr. Rahul’s videos on YouTube but I would skip them because “they were so long “. About six weeks out before my last attempt at the cbse I decided to only watch the free nbme concepts. I took a practice nbme and scored a high 50s. This was huge jump and of course I didn’t believe it. I continued watching his videos and got into the 60s. I passed my schools cbse. They said I had til Jan 31st 2024 to take the USMLE step 1. With holidays coming up I made the decision to take it in December 2023. Thankfully Dr. Rahul had a sale for his keys vignette series that also included access to his pass/fail course so I decided to purchase the course because the free one was lacking pharmacology and biochemistry which were my weak areas. And I knew I’d regret it if I didn’t pass. So leading up to my exam I only did his videos, uworld and NBME practice plus the free 120. Scored a 68% 2 days before on the free 120! I got my results Dec 20th 2023 before Christmas and I was so scared!!! But I found out that I passed the USMLE step 1!!! First try!! Not having to sit through months of studying was worth the money I paid for the course. As medical students we are on a STRICT budget. If you wanted a sign to purchase the course, this is it. A couple of hundreds is nothing compared to having access to your dream of being a physician. The way Dr. Rahul solidifies the concept and definitely makes you think like the test maker!!! The course is definitely worth every single dollar!!!! I wish I started earlier. Now I’m on to clinical rotations and I will be watching his videos and purchasing his step 2ck course!!!! I can’t stress this enough. Thank you Dr. Rahul for your program and your dedication in teaching the future generation of physicians

I signed up for the pass/fail course after not passing Step 1 back in July. This was the best decision I could've made for my retake journey. I truly believe the way Dr. Damania highlights really brings concepts together in a question-based manner is the reason why I passed the 2nd time around. I am now using his step 2 course for my step 2 journey as well. I highly recommend all of his products and review sessions!

I had a wonderful learning experience with HYGURU. It is very structured and caters exactly what is needed to excel in your preparation. It was very informative and helpful in my preparation for my STEP2 exam. I can't thank Dr.Rahul Damania for his help and effort in providing a stellar and invaluable program for students in aiding their success in preparing the exams. I highly recommend his program to all medical students.

Very nice, flexible, and accommodating. I had one personalized group session with him, and I found his approach toward approaching question stems useful. I would probably review diseases, their pathophysiology, and exam findings thoroughly with another resource, but HYGuru does a great job of tying them all together in the context of a clinical scenario so you can recognize them on the exam.

My experience with Hyguru has been so incredible. Aside from learning the content for USMLE step 1, Dr. Damania teaches you how to take a test, how to study, and most importantly how to trust yourself and your preparation. I worked with Dr. Damania for 1 on 1 tutoring for 3.5 months during my step 1 prep. The first session was all about scheduling, strengths and weaknesses, building confidence and learning how to study. Dr. Damania worked with me weekly to review concepts and practice exams. My favorite part about working with Hyguru for tutoring is the way he conducts his review. Everything is active recall and when we cover a concept we try to integrate as many topics as we can (pathology, pharm, micro etc). I was taken out of my comfort zone and learned so much about myself as a student along the way. HYgurus resources are up to date, he includes customized Uworld QIDs, and most importantly he takes the beast that is step 1 and makes it doable. I felt like my preparation was customized for me and working with Dr. Damania was motivating and it was the best decision I ever made. He wasn't just a tutor he was my coach & a great mentor. I had so much practice by the time I sat for my exam that there was nothing they could throw at me on test day to throw me off my game. Dr. Damania has worked so hard to build Hyguru, the resources he provides are so integrative. I've never met someone so passionate about helping others, not just in the hospital but in the classroom too. I took my step 1 on 12/30 and I passed after the first try. When I sat for my exam I was ready to give it my all, I felt calm, I felt like I was prepared as best as I could be all thanks to Hyguru. I was never a great standardized test taker and I was an average student in undergrad but all of that has changed since I found Hyguru as a resource. YOU CAN do this and you WILL do this if you use HyGuru for your USMLE prep. 12/10 absolutely recommend this resource - if this was a restaurant hyguru deserves a Michelin star.

Dr. Damania is an incredible educator with such a passion for teaching. His genuine care and interest in the success of his students shows especially in his private tutoring. I used both his HYGuru course and private tutoring to study for my Step 2 CCSE exam. His course material was an incredible review and his approach to NBME style questions was invaluable. It really helped me gain confidence in my abilities and learn how to tackle the exam. In addition, his use of Notion to make a personalized study schedule and give me tasks for the day really helped with giving structure to my study day. I would highly recommend Dr. Damania and the HYGuru course.
