The Surgery Live Review was great. I really liked how Dr. Damania makes you think like the test maker and integrates so many concepts. I used his Step 1 P/F course and was successful and will use the Step 2 CK review course also. I truly feel an elevation in my thinking when answering questions due to his teaching techniques.

I discovered HyGuru during my early basic science courses and have been incredibly lucky that Rahul has continued to make new content through my clinical science experiences. There is so much material available for NBME/USMLE preparation and HyGuru has consistently been a superior source for my review. In the surgery shelf review, Rahul provided a comprehensive review with 10 hours of content over two days. He provided a clear, easy to follow handout for each day, kept us engaged with questions in the chat box, and maintained a high energy level the entire time. I completed HYGuru's Surgery Rapid Review course, and I am beyond impressed with the comprehensive and effective approach taken. The course made it much easier to grasp complex surgical concepts and aiding immensely in preparing for the shelf exam. The course covered key topics, allowing me to focus on the most critical aspects of surgery. This targeted approach significantly boosted my confidence going into the exam.

I initially found out about HyGuru a year ago when I was looking for youtube videos on quick rapid reviews of concepts tested on Step 1. This year while preparing for Step 2, I found Dr. Damania's rapid review on pediatrics concepts for Step 2CK, and decided to give his surgery rapid review course a go. I can confidently say that this is an amazing resource to use while preparing for these exams! I feel much more prepared, as the review incorporates very useful test taking strategies, clearly explained concepts, integrated practice nbme-style questions and ways to differentiate diagnoses. I highly recommend HyGuru for both Step 1 and Step 2!

Dr. Damania took me from failing step 1 practice tests to passing the real thing within 2 weeks with his free Youtube videos supplemented with his paid-for pharm review. Now, I'm using his materials for shelf exams and step 2 ck studying. He makes medicine digestible and fun while integrating broad overviews of concepts you need to pass along with specific details you need to really get an outstanding score. Both his videos and handouts/slides are exceptionally well done, and he is the only medical educator I've found that is so fun and easy to follow. Not only does he have plenty of practice questions to exercise/solidify concepts, but he goes in depth in describing things to clarify areas of misunderstanding. Most other medical education resources have been kind of miserable for me to get through -- I actually look forward to learning from Dr. Damania. He is very approachable and communicative -- responds to emails so fast! I can attribute much of what I've learned in medical school to HyGuru -- 10/10 recommend!
